I meant “One Year After”.
There are ways to work around these little problems.
If I live long enough to run out, # 10 will get me. When I run out of thyroid pills, I’ll just run down and die.
If the whiskey don’t kill me, I’ll live ‘til I die.
If this is the endtimes there are going to be a lot of sad azzed pre tribbers whithout even a can of chili on the shelf. :-)
Yup. I have measures to deny supplies to attackers in the event of my demise. Might even take a few out after I am gone. ;-)
Yuk Yuk! When the starving hordes com for you and spread you over the fire to roast you will be “done for”!
What am I saying! I’ll be right next to you!
Mr. GG2 has built rocket stoves and water filters for everyone in the family and he built a colloidal silver generator which all of his buddies went nuts over and bought parts so he could put them together for everyone.
Guess I screwed up the “tell no one” part.
Mrs L and I have built up 6 months worth of maintenance meds using this method. And we continue to add to it monthly. And you’re right about them lasting. Very few meds will degrade quickly of they are stored correctly.
Best of luck to you and yours.

Sounds like you and your husband have really got it together.
LOL I think you’re right.
I don’t get it, you still need a prescription for antibiotics and diabetic drugs. How does buying online from Canada help?
The mobs from the 'gimme people' will be the first to perish. They will plunder their own first out of desperation. By the time they run out of plunder and they hit the inner suburbs for those neigborhoods the word will be out and won't end well for the zombies..
Water, and sanitation. Sanitation prevents the spread of diseases, when it works right.
Gotta live the best you can, with what you have at the moment.
May as well just stock up on Vodka or Gin;)
Powdered Pool Shock works better than Bleach.
There may be some natural supplements and herbs that may help whatever you have.
And, 100% will be resurrected. After that will be either a shtf day, or a new eternal jubilee day. Take your pick.
12. You die because they let the plane LAND!!!
I’m wondering about restoring the rule of law, eventually, after things get ugly.
I imagine it would happen in a neighborhood sense rather quickly, certainly within two months. There would be relatively few crimes: murder, rape, robbery/burglary/theft. There would be relatively few punishments: death, death, death for outsiders or perhaps stocks/flogging for minor offenses by members of the community.
There would initially be no taxes, but that would change as a larger area banded together. I doubt there would be any government welfare for over a hundred years - that would be left to charity (a distinct improvement because it allows for virtue in giving and shame in receiving except due to abject need).
Roads would be maintained through tolls.
One-room schools would likely come back after only a few years. One person could specialize in teaching reading, writing, math, science, history, and civics, watching the youngest kids while the rest of the community produced other goods and services (and paid the teacher). That might not always last to age 18, just until kids were old enough for a trade in many cases.
Trade would grow from barter to precious metals very quickly - someone can grow enough wheat to feed a hundred families easily but cannot fend for himself nearly as well. Trade is where we get something better than mere survival.
