WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama, in a historic first for the Pentagon, has chosen to nominate Eric Fanning to lead the Army, a move that would make him the first openly gay civilian
secretary of one of the military services.
Fanning’s nomination is the latest in a series of actions taken by the administration to advance the rights of gays and lesbians throughout the federal government.
The Obama administration has overhauled internal policies to provide benefits to same-sex partners, appointed gays and lesbians to the executive branch and the federal bench, and ended the 18-year ban
on gays serving openly in the military.

JMHO...Obama does this kind of stuff just to see how far he can push those he’s already compromised. Of course it’s a dumb idea to have a gay military leader, who has to earn the respect of other militaries and other nations. It puts our soldiers in the position of being treated as a joke, instead of being respected.
It’s his only qualification to the media. Also, I have to wonder if other qualified applicants were ignored in order to make sure that the homosexuality box was ticked.
That takes care of the Army. Next appointment is Naval Secretary Kaitlyn Jenner.

Pretty soon the only way to separate the men from the boys in the Army is with a crowbar.
The new rainbow fatigues will be topped off by pink berets. They will look simply “fabulous” with open toed rainbow heels.
What do Putin, Iran, North Korea, ISIS, al quada
think when they see this?
Romney would have done pretty much the same thing. Remember Obama sold himself as defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman. Romney showed all the signs of phoniness that Obama did. When I read Romney speeches I saw Clinton style parsing. I knew I could never vote for that. Some so-called republicans praise that as a necessary tactic to trick voters into supporting their candidate. I am hanging onto that ancient idea that we need a leader with good character. A republic is not a republic if the candidates are nothing more than con men and the voters are nothing more than their patsies. If that is all we have, we deserve to fall.
Forget separating the men from the boys. How about the boys from the girls?
What I keep wondering is why women are not now bunked in with the men. Why discriminate. If homos get the object of their sexual desire in the next bunk, why not the heteros?
