What are the conditions that you are watching the Republican debate tonight?
Have fun answering all or some of these questions. Feel free to add more.
1. Where? Home office, family room, friend's house, work lunch room, etc.
2. What medium and what channel or link?
3. Who will be with you?
4. Will you eat or drink at the same time?
5. Will you watch both the 3pm and the 6pm or just one?
6. Will you watch live or delayed?
7. Will you live chat on FR or read the comments later or at all?
8.Do you have a drinking game or activity that you will engage as you watch?
9. Based on the last debate, what do you expect to happen? (The dog will bark when the buzzer goes off;) )
10. What question do you want?
11. Who will implode or will fizzle out?
12. Who will be the attack dogs and towards who?
13. How many times will Rand Paul talk out of turn?
14. Who will tell the most lies about their record?
15. Who will win over the stupid Frank Luntz group?
16. Who will give the best answers?
17. Who will win the debate with the viewers based on polling after?
What’s the point? The primaries are all decided by the time they get to this State(OR).
Will you keep a pad of paper and pencil nearby for a tally at the end of the night for us?
You’re quite welcome!
I may not watch at all since I wasn’t invited.
Can’t stand wadding through all the losers. I will listen to the ‘best of’ clips tomorrow
I will watch both debates live on Sling TV at home by myself. The rest of my family has plans and they are not political junkies like me.
No point to a drinking game, but I may smoke a nice cigar while sipping a Colorado Bulldog. I’d clean my guns during the debate if I thought I could get through it without shooting the TV. Prolly not a realistic scenario. ;)
I’ll prolly chat on FR.
They should call these things ratings wars. They certainly aren’t debates.
Much too long....to say the same thing over and over.
>>People seem to view it as sporting event, like NASCAR<<
I guarantee you SOMEONE will crash and burn!
There’s gotta be an old Jimmy Stewart movie on another channel...
>>Will you keep a pad of paper and pencil nearby for a tally at the end of the night for us?<<
I may have to write a program to keep track of it (*taking out my C++ reference manual*).
Gonna be on FR
I would make a constitutional amendment. A federal primary day for all on the same day nation wide. I hate the primary system the way it exists. I have never had a chance to vote in a primary that was not already pretty much decided and by the time it gets to NY the guy I like has dropped out already
Twitter is starting to get a little fun... last week James Rosen (a staffer most likely) started following me, and re-tweeted me once which gave me lots of followers.
Like it or not, part of the political battle is being fought on social media these days as more and more people tune out the TV.
>>Theres gotta be an old Jimmy Stewart movie on another channel...<<
“Mr. Smith goes to Washington” fits.
I’ll even take the weather channel over this debate. If I have to watch one more snarky elitist trying to seem important, I am going to get sick.
Avoid it as I would a rotting carcass.
Can you FReep the better ones?
I don’t Twitter, FB, Snapchat or even Yelp.
I just FReep and participate in a few other boards.
Home.
2. What medium and what channel or link?
I'll watch it on CNN
3. Who will be with you?
Most likely alone
4. Will you eat or drink at the same time?
Oh God yes.
5. Will you watch both the 3pm and the 6pm or just one?
Main event. Won't be home in time for the kids show.
6. Will you watch live or delayed?
Live.
7. Will you live chat on FR or read the comments later or at all?
I'll be watching FR as well. Will probably join in somewhere along the way.
I get up at 4:00 AM and this debate is pretty much past my bedtime. I will check with FR in the morning to get the scoop.
Last time Megyn Kelly relegated herself to the dustbin. This time I am sure Hugh Hewitt will be champing at the bit to get attention and to the same.
