NEW YORK — Wall Street is growing increasingly terrified that Donald Trump — once viewed as an amusing summertime distraction — could actually win the Republican nomination for president.

The real estate billionaire, who took another populist shot on Sunday by ripping into lavish executive pay, continues to rise in the polls. Would-be Wall Street saviors like Jeb Bush are languishing in single digits. The belief that Trump's candidacy would quickly fade is now evaporating in a wave of fear.

But WHY ?

A guy that knows how to use the market could command or allow it to play it's games so he would make money

Well, those blood-sucking leaches should be panicking: they’ve purchased nearly every elected politician that matters, including Obama, and no amount of money will purchase Trump.

Their real panic will set in when they realize Trump knows the Federal Reserve is a private bank and plans to do something about it.

Perhaps Trump has true intentions of putting Country first.

He doesn’t need the hassle of running for POTUS or the money by continuing to work.
He could easily retire to wherever he wanted to with his beautiful wife and spend his last years in paradise.

Instead, he has chosen a different path because he is putting his Country first.

How anyone can think he is not genuine when he is sacrificing what little time he has left here to pay back the Country that allowed him to live a great life.

Very unselfish. Most get into politics for the money, like the Clinton’s.
I don’t think Trump is in this for money as he can make more continuing to work at his various business ventures.

From the article you linked:

"I don't know anyone who is a Donald Trump supporter. I don’t know anyone who knows anyone who is a Donald Trump supporter. They are like this huge mystery group,” the CEO said. "So it's a combination of shock and bewilderment. No one really knows why this is happening."

And there you have it. Just like the establishment politicians, the CEOs are so removed from everyday people, they don't see that they've CREATED this 'bewilderment'.

The fact that trump actually likes his country and extolls its virtues is really all that matters in this election. anyone who speaks their mind and is unafraid of their own opinions is ok by me. At least they say what they really believe.
I hold Bernie Sanders in higher regard than half the republican field because he is not afraid of who he is .

Same guy could expose all the corruption involved in what's been going on too.....which would make them more afraid?

Brings back memories ...DON’T BLAME NE I VOTES FOR GOLDWATER...I actually did....

With Trump in there the direction of the vision as to what direction this country should take is not about principles of conservatisim it’s all about ME (personalities). All he’s been doing has been reafiriming some of which what we know what’s wrong. He hasn’t and won’t discuss the massive cultural changes and how we must go about bringing them back. And when he does offer his ideas. They are hardly conservative in fact they’re scarey.

Thanks.

I was going to post that identical passage.

But I ended up with something weird about my computer last night. Since then I rebooted and it’s ok now.

I just wanted to point out, that is a fabulous quote.

The people currently running our country don’t even understand it anymore.

True. I agree with his border plan but wouldn't let anyone back in. Agree on birthright citizenship.

Don't know where he stands on a host of other issues and haven't even heard him address the issues that you speak of including the cultural rot and decline.
