Had another thought: Of course, sometimes they’re only GOOD when they’re sleeping!
(Trying to get my two to bed now. G’Nite!)

yeah, that's a sign they dont care.
Research states that although much much smaller of course, cats have brains very similar to humans.
i remember my poodle when i was a kid. had a vicious temper.
I love my cat and he loves me :)
And yes, I'm a man, and former boxer, so take that!!!!!
Disclaimer: My fiance got him for me when i was quite sick seven years ago. And I'm of Italian descent and his name is Spaghetti. Anyone got a problem :) Mom made GREAT home made Sicilian pizza way back when,.
Oh a good story there....sounds like he was pretty beat up too ....stories of need love are the best when it comes to animals.....they bring the love side out of us when we’re on our own.
I will tell you that I shared with the vet my concern about ‘Cats’ teeth gone and she laughed....said not to worry a bit about that...cats will woof it right down anyway...and it’s proved true.
I must admit “Cat” prefers the soft food most cats do I think....I buy him the ‘hard’ food that’s small bits...Friskies I think...so that he always has food to nibble on at his leisure. He gets the wet food at least twice a day usually more....he’s like me ..a grazer...eats small amounts often. So if he wants food he stands by his dish with “The Glare”. I also feed him chicken when I cook it...I scissor cut it and freeze so he always has a “snack”.
Not only that but “Cat” has brought home here field mice, baby bunnies and birds though he doesn’t get to eat them now...he just wants to show me the prize I think....but he sure does have a strong grip with his mouth despite no teeth.
Oh that’s funny!......a cat can really do a number when they buck snort!
My cat snores too.....I remember when he first decided to leap onto the bed for the night...it was a break through in his adjusting here....he snuggled up close fell asleep and promptly began to snore like a person might! I cracked right up out loud...never heard a cat snore before...it was hysterical! .........but when he buck snorts it’s horrific....either he or I must go out of the room!
“Cat” brought home a very young cat here one day which I also brought in...I really didn't want another animal but she was so very cute I couldn't resist....At any rate these two tolerated each other..with the big cat dominating most everything when he had a mind to. But bed time became an issue of who was going to win out....that too was hysterical...the little one would creep up around my neck bypassing big cat...who as soon as he noted would bat him a good one!
As the little kitty grew, and knew my habits, as soon as she noted bedtime prep she'd scoot in on the bed and stand tall on the end of it as Queen of the Mountain....just waiting til Big Kitty would come in....the worm had turned and now she would bat him if he tried to get up there!
They eventually called a truce...she opted for my feet and big kitty my side.! Ha!
Unfortunately over the summer “Isabelle” escaped and still has not come back....I decided then never to make a cat a house cat again. I miss her but really think she's adopted herself somewhere else. Another poster told me cats are notorious adulterers....they'll adopt another family and return even a year later as if nothings happened!
....”What is it with a cat’s digestive tract? nothing can keep up with a cat. They’re like walking nerve gas canisters”....
ROTFLOL.....But how about this.....
How do our cats feel when we fart?
Believe it or not, your cat might actually like the smell of your farts (gross!). You may notice that your cat starts sniffing the air after you fart. If your cat runs away after you fart, the noise may have scared him or, your farts are really really stinky! If your farts are that stinky, you probably should not be complaining about your cats farts!
A tidbit about cats farting.....
“Cats are carnivores and are generally on a diet rich in protein. Protein-rich diets produce small amounts of ‘intensely stinky gas’ because proteins contain lots of sulfur... Because there is only a small amount of gas, your cats farts are probably silent most of the time... Silent but deadly, of course!”
...cats dont feel embarrassed about farting so they just let it rip (like kids do!)
...the amount of gas produced is extremely potent, even though it is a small amount
...the gas is released more slowly when cats fart due to the horizontal orientation of their gastrointestinal system

we had a siamese & boy did she yak! She also like to sit with her back to the fireplace when we burned wood (this is in a heated home of course-the fireplace was in the living room. we never could figure out what her fascination with the fireplace was.
it’s been a long road of healing for him. He has got back some cat behaviors that had been long hidden.
I could go & on .......
thanks for your comment :)
I was viewing some cat pages and found this...thought you might find interesting regarding that precious moment with your cat head bumping you....
When your cat head butts you he is extremely content. It is also a way for your cat to greet you with love and affection....Also when your cat head butts you, he is marking you as his property... pheromones are secreted from his forehead and send out messages to other members of the species that your his property.
Head butting is usually a pretty clear indication that your cat wants to be pet! Cats very often head butt people when they want affection and love. Your cat will often purr when he starts to head butt you. Sometimes a cat will start with head butting and then rub his whole body along your leg. If your cat is doing this, you should give him lots of pets and affection. Pet him, scratch his head, and snuggle with him. He will love you even more!
Too funny...now is this cat enjoying water on his head or discovering a new way to drink? The longer I watched this the funnier it got....

oh my gosh yes, that’s true. The other two do headbunting ,too-& he purrs,of course doing this. but here’s the funny part-he’ll be purring but many times he’ll change to a higher octave in purring and I’m talking to him & ask him....”are you singing”? lol....
