They were loving on us and people went by and thought we were these crazy people who took their cats fishing.
Had it been on Lake St. Clair in S.E. Michigan, folks might have thought they were using the kitties as musky bait.......

I should have KNOWN they were ORANGE kitties? What’s up with that? Thank goodness I’m no where near the Warrior River or I would have RK’s (River kitties) to add to the SK (Sewer Kitty) group. :)

Funny!
Sounds like a beautiful place. I left my heart on Long Lake in Maine, many years ago .... Iowa’s not so good on lakes :(
Came by your page, love it ... Made me smile :)
(I think that first vet was a pretend vet, I’ve seen better wrap jobs on an egg roll, lol)
Cheers ~

Someone dumped the kittens in the woods. Kittens climbed tree to escape something. Tree hangs over river. Kittens get hungry and scared. Kittens see men in boat. Kittens jump in water to swim to men.

I hear ya. If they’d found me I’d’ve been appointed their servant immediately.

Obviously, they were domesticated cats, not feral.Hate to bring it up, but maybe the burlap sack opened before the kittens drowned. Some individuals (I won't call them people) used to tie unwanted kittens or puppies in a weighted sack and toss them in the creek or pond.
