Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura suggested Tuesday that he’d be glad to be Donald Trump’s running mate.
“Do you think Donald would ever think of asking me?” Ventura said during an interview on his “Off the Grid” show with former Trump adviser Roger Stone .
Ventura said he’d support Trump for the GOP presidential nomination.
“I shocked my staff today,” Ventura said. “I came in and said, ‘You know what, as far as the Republicans are concerned, I hope Trump wins.’”

That was simply a bit of levity on his part.
Trump said that while Winfrey is a “friend” of his, when he was asked by George Stephanopoulos, “who’s actually a really nice guy,” about his VP pick, both were joking. And his answer was “done in the form of a little sarcasm and a joke,” and that the vice presidency is “obviously” “not for her.”
Good heavens, no! We need some elder-statesman type with gravitas to offset Trump’s ... um ... uniqueness. Not some fringe Alex Jones-wannabe.

Oh I agree. But to me defunding abortion is the priority. It trumps everything else. AlsI, anyone who says they want to completely defund PP gets tagged with the War on Women meme, which is sadly quite effective with low info voters.

There are literally thousands of organizations which should be defunded entirely. Start with PP and ACORN, then go on down the list PBS and NPR and all of the rest. The UN especially, not to mention the Iran nuke deal.
Agreed. Add in most three letter agences, esp. EPA, and many departments, esp. Department of Education.
