Donald Trump’s presidential candidacy might seem like a joke—a dark, sad performance piece meant to reveal the ugly id of American voters—but the Democratic National Committee is taking the bid seriously. Trump is, after all, leading the current GOP field by an impressive margin.
According to a report from The Guardian, the DNC has now assigned a full-time staff member to the Trump campaign. The staff member will be “devoted to responding to statements and pushing back against his campaign.”

I agree 100%, this is the most exciting primary season since I arrived in this great country in September 1060. I still remember watching Nixon-JFK debates from the TV in my dorm, the Quadrangle, University of Iowa.

I don’t know what the usual viewership of these presidential debates are, but I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch to believe that we may get all time ratings highs for these Republican debates because of The Donald’s presence in them. Not only are we curious to see his performance, but a bunch of frightened Democrats want to see if he’s gonna be a serious threat too!
I’d be willing to bet, there are a good portion of democrats who will be watching, because for the first time they themselves will be thinking of voting for Trump.
He has a huge group of supporters thus far.
Not just Republicans. There are a mess of blue-collar democrats ready to support Trump on American jobs.

I mean, honestly, have I forgotten someone? Is there a real wizard of smart I've neglected to mention?
Of course, they actually have a real brain-trust. That includes people like William Ayres, Bernardine Dohrn, Peter Singer, George Soros, and others of their ilk.
These are the people who actually steer the ship. But they are too smart to appear in public, or to let their plans be known outside a very small circle of people who (mostly) know how to keep their mouths shut.
Don’t forget Axlegrease, Plouffy, and Messina....
