I wonder if John Belushi is buried in the same graveyard as some of my ancestors on Martha’s VIneyard. Just wondering...

Facts, schmacts!

We can do the Innuendo
We can dance and sing
When it’s said and done
We haven’t told you a thing
We all know that Crap is King
Give us dirty laundry

Well..

“..interred .. at Abel’s Hill Cemetery in Chilmark on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. A tombstone marking the original burial location has a skull and crossbones, that reads, “I may be gone but Rock and Roll lives on.” “

(from that vast storehouse of all the knowledge of the entire universe - Wikipedia.. ;-)

I will check my genealogy, but you have to remember that my ancestors buried on MV were there prior to the westward movement. Half my ancestors were on the shore when the other half arrived on the Mayflower.

Some day, it would exciting to back and find the graves.

You and I use the word “exciting” very differently.

Unless you have a spell to raise them. THAT might be exciting, but not in the best way.

Anything that helps me learn about my ancestors is “exciting” to me! It’s an addictive hobby, and once I get into it, it’s hard to take a break. My body usually tells me I’ve been at it too long, but otherwise, I would work on it until my eyes slammed shut.

OK, so nobody asked but I hate to waste a good setup so I’m gonna tell you anyway.

Yeah, that’s so not me.

I haven’t even tried to find my mother.

Wow. I’m amazed. I like finding out things about people and I read a lot of history and biographies. WAY too much fun!

Maybe I’m just jealous because there’s not much about my life for anyone who comes after to be excited to find out.

I dunno...I could take a stab at it. You may be surprised about what I could find. If you’re interested, FReepmail me.

Seriously, it’s not something I’ve ever been interested in. My wife has done some digging, but I never even really asked my parents.

Maybe some part of my brain never got jump-started.

Jump starting the brain. Just remember the red clamp attaches to the right ear, black to left. That will get you humming.

Just putting clamps on my ears should get me humming.

Actually applying 12 volts should get me screaming.

Unfortunately, I have a non-standard brain that runs at 10.75 vols. The last time I tried to jump it with a standard brain I was wonky for ...

Well, I’m still wonky. So a long time.

I am so thankful that it wasn’t a “major” expense and that it didn’t take a full day to fix!

I think the idle speed needs to be dabbled with, but I’ll know more about that as I drive it. Right now, it seems to be idling rather high and that means gas usage.

Tomorrow, I may tackle the fridge and see about getting it cleaned up. There isn’t much in there, so now is a good time to do it! :o]

Today, my new aide was supposed to show up but I had to choose the truck over her. The place isn’t that dirty, since I’ve figured out ways to keep up with the cleaning by doing a few things when the opportunities arise.
