Sunday on NBCs the Today, Meet the Press host Chuck Todd claimed Donald Trump was looking into how he could get on the ballot in 50 states as an independent candidate and went on to say that if he runs as a third party [candidate] it likely makes Hillary Clinton president.
Todd said, Im not going to try to predict anything Trump might do. I think theres a lot of us that thought he wouldnt get this far. We didnt think he would turn in the financial disclosure. Im through making predictions about how long Trump stays wherever. I think hes reportedly looking into how he could get on the ballot in 50 states as an independent candidate. He has the resources to do it. I could picture him deciding for he feels unwelcome with the Republicans. If he runs as a third party it likely makes Hillary Clinton president or whoever the Democratic nominee is. In his mind he would say Im the reason shes elected. And I can picture him wanting to have that honor.

Trump would be CRAZY to put all his hopes on the Republican Party - we’ve all done that for DECADES, just to be SCREWED OVER again and again.
Trump is VERY WISELY keeping his options open.

If the nominees of the two major parties are Hillary Rotten Clinton and Juan Ellis Bush, to quote Hillarity, “What difference at this point does it make?”

if he runs as a third party [candidate] it likely makes Hillary Clinton president.First of all, Hillary will never be the nominee, BUT, should that happen, Trump beats Yeb + Hillary easily.

Not worded well, but what I got out of it is he is keeping his options open and checking out the process for getting on the ballot in all 50 states as an Independent.

"...host Chuck Todd claimed...that if he 'runs as a third party [candidate] it likely makes Hillary Clinton president.'"
That's also a line from concern trolls. Clinton doesn't have a chance against a candidate who would cut government spending much. Americans don't trust government employees and are finished with allowing them to suck the life out of the economy while robbing others.

Why on earth would Trump, the hero for many on here, HELP elect Hillary by running 3rd party and WHY, if Todd is to be believed, is he ALREADY working to get the nod as an independent?

The problem is that you will have a large portion of people who hate Hillary and see Jeb or whomever as the better alternative, while others, more Conservative, see Trump as such. Thus, if Hillary starts out with 47% of the vote, the rest of the vote will be split.
Hillary POTUS.
Now, let’s say someone like Walker or Cruz is the nominee...do you all still think Trump should jump to indy?

Translation: Media now trying to get on his good side, telling him he'd be so awesome if he ran as an independent and elected Clinton. These people are pathetic.

The following explains why Internet political sites get most of their traffic from schools and government offices.
Heavy Hitters: Top All-Time Donors, 1989-2014http://www.opensecrets.org/orgs/list.phpAmerican Fedn of State, County & Municipal Employees $60,949,129 [Democrat] 81% [Republican] 1%
Leviathan (Uncle Sam employs more people than you think) National Review ^ | 02/03/2011 | Iain Murray
"
...nearly 40 million Americans employed in some way by government."
But the portion that is active with comments on political sites only comprise a minor portion of voters. Most voters now oppose government salary and pension interests more than anything else. Most voters are disgusted with government waste and meddling against truly productive activities and individual rights.

Good. I think the GOP is waaaaaaaay past it's expiration date. Trump might just be the guy to push these worthless old liars off the same cliff the Whigs went over.
I'm serious...if it kills the GOP it's good by me. This country is being destroyed before our eyes and the GOP is as guilty as the democrats.
