With the understanding that I will get hammered by the Trump supporters on this page, I have some questions for you about your candidate:
First, WHY do you support Trump? Is it only because he talks tough? Do you have HISTORY to prove he means what he says on this issue?
Second: Other than screaming about illegal immigration (he is right about it), talking about bombing oil fields and that Persians are smooth negotiators, WHAT other issues does he understand? On what other issues is he Conservative?
Third: Who do all of you expect Trump to choose for the SCOTUS?
Fourth: Can you prove Trump is different from his past as a Democrat...can you prove he is Conservative? how? (please don't feed us the BS that Reagan was once a Democrat...Trump isn't Reagan)
Fifth: How do you reconcile his flip-flopping on issues like Immigration, guns, abortion and OBAMACARE and Hillary?
Sixth: Can anyone explain WHY Trump supported Obama in 2012?
Seventh: Why, suddenly, in 2012, did his donations INCREASE to Republicans when he first decided to run as a GOP candidate for POTUS? Why was he a Democrat donor before then? (don't give me the 'Oh, well, he had to do business in NY crap, either...he gave to candidates outside of NY).
Finally, how can you all be certain that Trump isn't a trojan horse? How can recent talking points outweigh his recent history of comments, etc?
If Trump really is who you think he is...prove to us WHY you think this.
Immigration is the number one issue. I weigh each candidate on that issue first. Cruz and Trump have the same position on immigration, they just have different styles in presenting it. Trump captured the anger and the hunger for someone with a public voice saying what has been frustrating them for years.
I have listened to Trump and Cruz, listened to the other candidates, one of whom announced this week and didn’t even mention illegal immigration, and it is clear to me that we have to get behind the two who are willing to get to work resolving the biggest problem this country faces.
Let the GOPe go along with their pro amnesty agenda while 70% of the country supports secure borders and immigration law enforcement.
As far as other issues, both Trump and Cruz are anti regulation, will repeal Obamacare, lower taxes on businesses, negotiate better trade agreements, all measures that will bring back jobs.
I like the way Donald would handle the Ford Plant moving to Mexico. He says, sure move your plant to Mexico and for each vehicle you ship to the U.S., we’re charging a 35% tariff. We need someone to look out for the workers and bring back jobs.
I am keeping an eye on all the candidates, but if the vote were held today, Cruz is still my guy and Trump/Cruz or Cruz/ Trump ticket would win in a landslide.
Don’t worry about it, if Trump is the nominee just stay home on election day.
If one of these RINO’s happen to win the primary, I will NEVER vote them as President, we no longer need another liberal socialist promoting and supporting Obama policies!
The next ticket will be Hillary/Bush since there is no difference between the two or the other RINO’s!
I read the article. Thanks for posting it. A Trump/Cruz ticket would be the best thing ever for our country.
Good: He is a rich guy who can say anything.
Bad: He is a rich guy that can say anything.
Ted Cruz!!
The guy who means it.
Excellent reasons. I’ll add a fourth: Trump has been a wrecking ball to the wall of silence that protects the other GOP candidates (sans Cruz) from debating issues they’d prefer to avoid.
Because he doesn’t need the $120K per year pension most of the lifetime politicians are dying for. Limos too.
Bingo. The Apprentice show, GOP version must go on. Trump is the master of ceremonies and self appointed arbiter of who goes on to the next stage. He’s playing people like a fiddle.
Well said! I should go ahead and tell you, you should copyright that.
I would like to hear your candidate to answer those questions.
GOOD PRO-TRUMP SUMMARY
I’m not certain that insulting any specific candidate, or their supporters, is the best path to success next year...
I don’t want Trump for President but I want him to use his wrecking ball approach on the political establishment ..from top to bottom.
If he ends up President - it’s no different than Hillary or Jeb.
Maybe Cruz will end up being VP
So, we are insulting them by asking them questions about their candidates....um, ok... LOL
I am so glad you showed up on this thread!
While I agree with much of what Trump has been saying (lately during this election cycle...), his history is questionable.
I do not trust him.
He has more ex wives than the 44 Presidents before him combined. That thang my daddy told me about a man who would screw around on his wife would do anything keeps popping into my mind.
He has gone broke two or three times. Not only is he a serial abuser of bankruptcy law, but he went broke while running “bawdy houses”. How in the hell does that happen? Spending too much time out chasing tail?
He is a serial abuser of Immenent Domain. Yeah, that really shows his concern for the “little people”.
I wonder how much Section 8 money he gets as “rent”.
I do not trust him at all on firearm issues, and I do not know if there is anything he can do to change that.
I do not trust him on immigration. Why are we allowing ANY immigration to this country with 90 million working age citizens out of work? Nobody in the field has even broached that subject, including the man in my tagline, that I have noticed.
Situations like this may cause me to cross over in the primary and vote for Sanders. Weaponizing our vote to speed the collapse may be the best option. If Rubio, Jeb, Perry, Crispy, Huck, or Graham are on the ticket......
He is in the construction business. Home base New York.
There is no way he could be successful like that without dealing with certain and many entities.
ahem....
If you read it, then please explain to me HOW Cruz could win the primaries without DT? Especially since Florida jut changed their system to winner take all. The gope has this all sewed up nicely, and it doesn’t matter to them who wins the presidency.
LOL...and yet, you still can’t answer.
My case and point exactly. Ignorant blind support of a candidate.
You are typical of the Trump supporter.
Right...since he was a Democrat up until 2012...he isn’t a RINO.
Neither is Cruz. Your point?
