Nelson the cat was found in an abandoned car park with a wounded eye
He now bears striking resemblance to the Bond villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld
Rescue centre staff fear the likeness has stopped him from being adopted
Nelson is being cared for by Cats Protection in Winslow, Buckinghamshire
I's not a face many would welcome at the end of a hard day's work.
But the fearsome appearance of Bond villain Blofeld is keeping one animal in need from finding a loving home.
Nelson, a ginger Tom cat who was brought to a rescue centre in Winslow, Buckinghamshire, looks so much like the famous baddie that it's keeping him from being taken in by new owners. Nelson the cat has not find new owners because of his suspicious appearance +7 The cat bears a striking resemblance to the character Blofeld played by Donald Pleasance +7
Nelson the homeless ginger cat can't find new owners because he looks too much like the Bond villain Blofeld
He was left with a striking scar much like Blofeld's after being discovered abandoned in a car park with an injured eye.
And while staff at the local Cats Protection home where he is cared for describe his raised-eyebrow look as 'adorable', would-be pet-owners have not taken quite the same liking to him.

Best villain line, EVAH!
President Thomas Whitmore: What do you want us to do?
Captured Alien: Die. Die.

Kitty ping...
I would take him!
Isn't he adorable? Look at that arrogant 'James Bond expression' on his face. lol. I simply love cats!
If I were ever to win the lottery, I would purchase as much property as I could and turn it into a cat heaven for all abandoned cats that were ever turned away..........
I would take him in a heartbeat! I already have two siamese cats without teeth, and a cat with one eye, which is also damaged. I don’t mind a bit the ones no one else wants.
I’m at full capacity or I’d be tempted too.
No, no, NO, Slings! You must be OVER capacity to use that line!! :-)
I would have to get permission form Ms Kitty, the Tuxedo terror around here.
Shhhhh! If that goes out over the Kittynet I’ll end up with another one!
Nelson looks similar to our most recently departed Mr. Piffy whom passed away at age 21 just a couple of months ago. Sans the bad eye the two could have been identical twins.
Mr. Piffy was more along the personality of the character in the Bond film Nelson reminds folks of however.
Mr. Piffy was the last of the 27 cats that took over our barn in 1994. We still have eleven others we accumulated over the years since.
Poor kitty.
Meant to ping you.
I saw it. Looks like he got in a bad fight.
Indoor cats for us.
Uh...yeah...
