I didn’t work hard to move out of the slums to have the government force me to live with the slums.
This is unreal to me. I was a product of the busing craze in the 90s. I was bused from a predominantly white part of the county to a predominantly black part of the county to attend a “magnet school.” It wasn’t the first time I’d ever met or seen a black person, but seeing the culture in all of its extremity was eye-opening to say the least.
Societies segregate themselves on purpose and often without realizing they’re doing it. My neighbors are black, and when they first moved in, I admit I thought, “There goes the neighborhood,” but over time, as I’ve gotten to know them, I found out they’re relatively successful people who wanted to “get out of the ghetto,” to paraphrase their reasoning. It’s not racist to want to move into a better neighborhood to expand opportunities. It IS racist to force a culture on to people through federally-subsidized housing.
Any places that are close in elections will be receiving new voters.

And that’s really what this is all about. Using minorities for cannon fodder. It has nothing to do with improving anybody’s lives.

Just doing some simple math, there would be enormous dislocation of millions of people around the country, if the liberal dream of complete integration happens through this plan.
Countless millions of inner city residents would be relocated into more affluent or suburban areas. In turn, these areas will see many existing residents relocate to make room for new residents. In turn, many of these areas will go ghetto as more and more Section 8 residents live there.
And as happens in life, those who are more affluent and able to avoid all of this, will move out of areas receiving Section 8 or lower income people, and go live in affluent or rural/small town enclaves.
Liberals and minority activists complained decades ago about “white flight” as white residents moved out of changing areas, so that the remaining residents were mostly minority. The liberals charged that effective integration didn’t happen because whites moved away.
The same sort of impact is predictable here. Though it will not be strictly racial, but will be based on socio/economic status. Those of higher socio/economic status, with the means and ability to move away, will once again move away from troubles caused by liberal social engineering.
Note that he and all of the elites will not live with these black and brown poor. They will live in gated communities, often with armed guards, while the rest of us have to live with the thugs.
