This BOY has an older sister. Perhaps sis has privileges as an older child that he perceives she gets because she's a girl. HE wants what she has, and figures the only way to get it is if HE "becomes" a girl. Who knows?
But instead of asking HIM "why"....and having a discussion as to why it's ok that he's a boy, mom immediately gives the kid what HE says HE wants.
If Jack was "sad" that he had a mom and a dad and he wanted two mommies, I'm sure this mom would have handed dad a suitcase pronto.
4 years ago my youngest said he wanted to be a fire truck when he grew up..I guess we should have helped him transform him into a fire truck. Now he wants to be an architect, he loves to draw...

On another thread this morning, someone referred to the Millenials as Generation Text. I enjoyed that term.
No way can a four year old decide whether to change sexes. These people are nuts and should be locked up.. This is child abuse!!!
• There are multiple different genders now, not just male and female
• If you don't know the difference between gender and sexual and orientation you are some sort of enemy of the people (my words, not theirs)
• They all refer to Bruce Jenner as Caitlyn and if you won't play along they group attack calling that person an oppressor and hateful.

My one daughter would wear her older brother’s hand-me-downs (usually long basketball shorts and a t-shirt and a hoody). My son hated it - “She looks like a boy!” Her twin sister was/is into girly clothes.
She still doesn’t worry too much about the really nice fashion stuff that her sister does, but she is definitely a young woman and dresses appropriately.
