Some parents are preparing to transition their children from one gender to the other as early as pre-school. National Public Radio interviews one Oakland, Calif. family with a young child who started life out as “Jack” but became “Jackie” by age four.

Oh please. Lesbian mothers, older sister. Kid is surrounded by females. Moms are probably into the whole “you don’t need a daddy, two mommies are great” not understanding that the message takes a toll on the little boy, who now wants to relate to mom by also being a girl.
Mental disorders, child abuse, possibly medical ethics violations run rampant in this news item.
And it did, rather abruptly one day. We were playing catch and I tried to teach her to throw from the shoulder rather than the elbow. In frustration I told her throwing from the elbow was how girls threw.
"But Daddy," she explained, "I am a girl!" And with that, she dropped her glove and baseball cap on the ground and stalked off. No amount of coaching would get her to be my boy again after that incident, although she eventually forgave me and went back to being my little girl.

A country which does not consider this insane, is insane.
It is child abuse. But because it fits the liberal meme nothing will be said... Remember - the New York Times sucks... the rest of the papers take their marching orders from them.... and that’s why the country is turning into a hellhole for everyone EXCEPT liberal elites.

And the institution he worked for stopped doing the surgery because follow up on those 10-30 years after surgery found they still committed suicide or tried to do so ten times the rate of the general population, because their underlying mental problems weren’t treated.
These parents are mutilating a child who statistically would correct itself.
And dooming the child to a lifetime of mental health problems, because it is either untreated for the true problems or mutilated and unable to live like that.
Read the obituary of recently deceased actor Patrick Macnee.
His father was a drunken racehorse trainer who abandoned his family and ran off to India when he was very small. His mother then decided that she was a lesbian and took in a live-in lover named “Uncle Evelyn”. Uncle Evelyn determined to “make a woman” out of young Patrick and forced him to wear dresses. He fought against this and, as a compromise, was eventually allowed to wear kilts.
How that man ever turned out to be an apparently normal human being is beyond me.
As a fifty-something who did not own a smart phone until a couple of months ago, is not on Twitter or Facebook, and still listens to AM radio, my children would maintain that I AM a dinosaur.
