I haven’t posted any pro-Trump articles. But, I don’t mind reading them. Just like I don’t mind reading pro-Walker threads, pro-Cruz threads, pro-Carly threads, etc.

They ALL bring something to the table.

Trump is saying what MANY of us are feeling. Why put the kibosh on that...let him at it. Even Sen Cruz supports Trump’s ability to do just that.

[He was very much 100% supportive of Trump. Completely.]

That statement is suggests Cruz is a Trump supporter but, in reality, he is just supporting Trump’s RIGHT to say what he said.

I also wish Trump was joking about Oprah, but...
"It's not the first time he's floated Winfrey as a potential running mate. The Hill notes he made similar suggestions when he discussed running for office in 1999."

Link

I've agreed with and would defend Trump on his stands & statements on the issues recently but those could be only the mega-saleman reading the public and telling them what he knows they want to hear. He shows me no reason to trust his commitment to his promises after he makes the sale.

I agree. Politics makes strange bed fellows, and despite those things that Trump has said and done that many here don’t like, he is saying that the country is going in the wrong direction, and has a big soapbox from which to say it.

Now that Cruz has come out in agreement with Trumps words; it will be interesting to see what the others have to say, will they agree; will they disagree; or will they ignore...

Most likely we will hear them say Trump has a right to his opinion.

I’m not a Walker supporter for POTUS (I very much like him as Governor) I think he will agree with Trump if he wants to cement his new position on illegals.

In Mexico one of the oldest newspaper El Excelsior published five days ago, that illegal immigrants from Colombia, are the leaders in the arrests of those that commit crimes based on arrest statistics . Trump did the same, what is the difference? Like Trump said here is not political correct but in Mexico it is correct.

Interesting that the left get so worked up about the truth. It’s just so mean to say Trump.

With Cruz’ brains and Trumps money there’s no limit to what they can do.

But only with Cruz on the top of the ticket. Would Trump go for that?

I disagree with your belief Trump would lose big time. Reason being I never in my wildest nightmares would have dreamed obama would be elected, let alone reelected. The voters out there are really wild and non-nonsensical.

Yes, Trump would likely lose conservative voters big time, but the other crowds out there may pick up all slack and put him in.

Oprah is the richest woman in United States, who did not inherit her money. And she is black. I give her lot of credit for her amazing success.

But do not post innuendo’s about Trump wanting Oprah for Veep. Trump was asked that question during a TV interview on a liberal network. Trump laughed and said something like “Oh sure, why not”.

Posting a remark made in jest as policy makes the poster look either a tool of another candidate, or unable to understand difference between jest and serious policy statements.

Cruz is mid 40’s. Trump is 69. Cruz would be wise to accept Veep position. It will be invaluable executive experience for 4 years or 8 at the most. And then run for president. Trump has never had a boss in his lifetime, and I doubt he would start at age 69.

No way. Obama was different, being black, and at least had a slim record. Trump would be crushed.

"But do not post innuendo’s about Trump wanting Oprah for Veep. Trump was asked that question during a TV interview on a liberal network. Trump laughed and said something like “Oh sure, why not”."

Who's posting innuendos and false reports?

Here's the facts from Link :

"Trump initially posed the idea of running for president with Winfrey on the ticket as his No. 2 in 1999, when he briefly considered launching a bid for Reform Party."

{And this time (2015) he} "admitted in an interview taped Tuesday that he would consider asking the former talk show host and media magnate to add her name to his campaign ticket as his vice president. "

"“I think Oprah would be great,” Trump told ABC in an interview slated to air on “Good Morning America.” “I’d love to have Oprah. I think we’d win easily, actually.”"

"“She’s great, she’s talented, she’s a friend of mine.” {and} “She’s a good person.”"

It was not a jesting response to a media proposal.

Not only was it Trump who "posed the idea" of Oprah as VP, but he did it first in 1999. And Trump did not confine his 2015 statement to just Oprah as a VP but went on without prompting to praise Oprah personally. Yes, praise the woman who used her TV show to launch Obama’s presidential campaign and was part of Jeremiah Wright's anti-White & anti-American church long before and after Obama.

But what should we expect from the man (Trump) who says Clinton was the best of the last 4 Presidents and who has given as much campaign contributions to Democrats as to Republicans {mostly RINOs)? [Google "trump best president" and "trump campaign contributions" before making any unsupportable accusations on these 2 facts!]

Who's the "tool" of a candidate and who's "unable to understand difference between jest and serious policy?"

But as I said in post #35 "I've agreed with and would defend Trump on his stands & statements on the issues recently but those could be only the mega-saleman reading the public and telling them what he knows they want to hear. He shows me no reason to trust his commitment to his promises after he makes the sale."
