By not hearing the case, the Supreme Court effectively upheld the decision of the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, which ruled against Arizona and Kansas in November 2014, saying the EAC did not have to modify its form to meet state laws. Here’s the way it works. I was at the DMV in Tampa, one of the few English speaking customers there, to get an ID for my Mom who is 98. She had surrendered her driver’s license and they refused to give her an ID because she could not produce a marriage license with her married name. What she had was a church certificate not the actual license which would be filed with a court. She was married in a military town on a base in 1943. Neither town or base exist anymore. We were in a quandary and this was the third trip because they’d only process her until they found something she didn’t have and then send her away without telling us there was more to get. So, here we are stuck, standing in front of a helpless clerk. At the next window 20 inches away was a man who spoke no English and had no paperwork. The clerk made him swear that what he’d said was true and he had his stuff and was on his way. I looked from him, to his clerk back at our clerk and raised eyebrow. I was turning beat red and blood was pounding. The clerk stammered, “Uhm, does she have a fishing license?” I opened my mouth and I must have looked like I was going to do something dreadful. He stepped back and stammered as he fished out a form, “’c-’cause if she has a fishing license I can use that.” I stood there open-mouthed as he issued her a fishing license and then used that as a form of ID. Then, we were on our way.

So apparently, if you’re Caucasian then all the rules apply. If you’re not, they don’t. It’s that white privilege we hear so much about.

Here in WA state you can register on-line and all voting is by mail! No one needs to see your mug!!

SO you do not need lot of paraphernalia to change your appearance if you want to vote multiple times.
