Twitter users mock Rachel Dolezal's struggle via #wrongskin hashtag

With what seemed like the whole world against Rachel Dolezal, there was at least one person who had her back.

On Thursday night, the NAACP President of the Spokane, Wash. Chapter was outed by a local news station for pretending to be a black woman and that was just the beginning.

As she soared to the top of the trending topics, the hashtag #wrongskin ignited a separate conversation (one that was clearly drenched in sarcasm) about "transracial" individuals.

Led by @GodfreyElfwick, a satirist who once even duped the BBC, the hashtag comically aimed to sympathize with Dolezal's identity struggle.

Since I am dark skinned for a white guy I have decided to identify as native American. I have not decided which tribe yet as I have to research which tribe is making the most money off casinos. I figure I can get in on some of that casino digs they have been making off whitey.

If I was black, I would find it SO insulting to think that not only was this not even a little black WHITE woman trying to pass as black, but she's doing it in the most negative stereotypical way.

She might as well be doing a minstrel show.

She's not even naturally tan. She has milky white skin and blonde hair. No comment on the cerulean blue eyes.

To make things WORSE, she staged how many fake "hate crimes".

She needs psychological help, and jail time for all of the resources wasted on investigating her lies.

Hell, even the STUPIDEST klansman can probably tie a more convincing "noose".

Pro tip: a noose is not made from climbing rope. It has way more loops. And it doesn't fall apart, as hers did.
