With what seemed like the whole world against Rachel Dolezal, there was at least one person who had her back.
On Thursday night, the NAACP President of the Spokane, Wash. Chapter was outed by a local news station for pretending to be a black woman and that was just the beginning.
As she soared to the top of the trending topics, the hashtag #wrongskin ignited a separate conversation (one that was clearly drenched in sarcasm) about "transracial" individuals.
Led by @GodfreyElfwick, a satirist who once even duped the BBC, the hashtag comically aimed to sympathize with Dolezal's identity struggle.

Hey if that shanty Irish so and so Clinton can be the first black POTUS then this but can certainly be the first white/black President of the Spokane chapter of the NAACP.

She’s been outed by her parents. I think it’s hilarious.

Ever heard the joke about the difference between Shanty Irish, and Lace Curtain Irish?
The lace Curtain Irish take the dishes out of the sink before they pee in it.
Before anyone says anything I’m Scotch-Irish!!

It's Scot-Irish. Scotch is a drink.
In any case, we Scot-Irish, who are Protestants, have nothing to do with either Lace Curtain Irish, nor Shanty Irish, who are Catholic Irish. So, you get no joke immunity. Anyway, it's not really a "joke" per se, just an amusing observation.

Easy now, you might be offending me. ;)
Scotch-Irish was right. I hate Irish whiskey, and I’ve always felt I was Catholic deep down inside. I went to a Catholic School in the 2nd grade.
I also have a strong urge to pee in the sink, but I resist!

Scots-Irish do not "feel" Catholic deep down inside.
You're a TransIrish.
