Consider this a free seminar on the intricacies of enacting a trade deal in Congress.
Only last week the media was all atwitter about Cruz jumping the Conservative ship, and voting to support (parts of) Obamas pacific trade pact. This is complicated stuff, and not very sexy. You simply cant explain it with a sound bite. But listen to this twenty-minute radio interview with Cruz as he brilliantly breaks down his position and in the process teaches us a lot about foreign trade, the Congressional process, and himself.
People who question Ted Cruzs electability are missing the point. The question isnt whether or not he can win, but what happens to us if he doesnt.

Your reasons are the cause of the reduction of manufacturing jobs in the US.
Add to them automation, and I say those jobs aren’t coming back. They have gone the way of the buggy whip.
Our economy is service based, and because of that creates more opportunity for the individual entrepreneur.

Do you have a link to the actual article? When I try that link at Director Blue it takes me to something called Bad Blue News and there is no Ted Cruz article to be found there.
Ted is not supporting TPP. TPA has always been available for anyone to read. I dont know of anyone who is supporting TPP> It is not completed yet. When it is, it will be public for 60 days before a vote, if TPA is passed, which requires that 60 day period.
