Run, Donald run! (shows typical Media arrogance)

Donald Trump has flirted with the idea of running for President many times, but if he is to be believed (a really big if) he is actually serious for once. If he enters the race he won't be elected but he could be the best sideshow this side of Sarah Palin.

Well I think (all) politicians are buffoons in some way.

Trump appears to be for returning jobs, to America.

Trump seems to be for stopping illegal immigration.

I would be ready to support someone else advocating, those important policy changes, while protecting our basic rights such as the second ammendment.

Who else is?

Boy that really ticks me off when someone says that about Sarah. Repeat the lies enough and the idiots believe them.

Calling Sarah Palin a sideshow shows the moron level of the tv personality who wrote the article.

Should Trump become an official contender, it’s all his own money; he is not owned; he is a natural born American; he is a rabid America for Americans; he knows that the lifeblood of America is business, not handouts; he does not disparage our G.I.’s; lastly in reference to 9/11, those were his buildings!

You keep pimping that fallacious idea...

Those jobs overseas are never coming back at least in any great number to make a difference..

What this country needs to do is create jobs...

Let capitalism work, innovation work, entrepreneurship work...

Let's get the huge footprint of federal /state government overbearing regulations, idiotic policy, abusive taxes and Americans will create good jobs.

I agree with you. Trump is the best “Plan B” if ALL the establishment pols continue to abandon their principles.

No I am saying we should be RETURNING jobs to America.

We are currently running a massive trade deficit with just one country.

That country, already out-exports us, already makes most of the stuff sold in America it seems, and has four or five times our population.

Their defense budget is already number two in the world, and it is growing (fast).

I did not misspeak at all.

Buffoon is a relative term. If we had President Trump instead of the druggie in our White House, we would have saved several trillion dollars from the huge amount that Obama has wasted. If we had Trump as Commander-in-Chief instead of the current sissy community-organizer-in-chief, we would have saved hundreds of lives in our military and hundreds of thousands of civilians worldwide. I can't think of any weaker praise than "better than Obama", but Donald Trump would have been MUCH better than Barack Hussein Obama. Of course, this guy would have been much better too:

The question this year is: "How does Trump, the buffoon, compare with the alternatives?" On the left, America's enemies have Bernie Sanders, the socialist. Trump would do a far better job with spending and employment, obviously, and that's a start. They have Governor O'Malley, a leftist version of Will Rogers, whose claim to fame is that he never met a tax he didn't like, even a tax on rainfall, and Trump would be far better in all respects. Next, the far left has Hillary Clinton, who has accomplished the remarkable feat of being even more corrupt and sleazy than the impeached husband. Trump is a buffoon, one far too desperate for attention, but he's nowhere near as corrupt as a Clinton, nor have I seen any signs of sleaze that is measurable on the Clinton scale.

How about compared to Republicans? The GOP has far too many big government liberals who are unabashed Amnesty fans. I don't trust Trump on Amnesty, but about half of his statements on the issue have made sense. He argues that Amnesty would increase illegal immigration, and it was nice to hear his sensible reasoning on that topic. He also seems to support some form of legal status. I don't like that, although I expect it from a buffoon like Trump, but it's better than Jeb Bush, Rubio, or Chris Christie.

Trump wants Obamacare repealed and calls it unconstitutional, and he opposes restrictions on guns for the same reason - 100% perfect on two of the three biggest issues today within the control of the president. Trump is the weakest choice in the race among those I would support, because he really is a buffoon, but I would vote for him if he beat Cruz and Walker to get the nomination.

Maybe I misunderstand your use of the word "returning"...(probably not)

For something to "return", it has to have "left" in the first place...

I get your point, but you seem to think China is our biggest problem in "returning" jobs to America, it's not... point your finger at the putrid swamps of corruption in DC...

Hum. No. Trump had nothing to do with the building of or the ownership or operation of the World Trade Center Towers. They were built and owned by Port Authority of New York. In 1998, the Port Authority decided to privatize the World Trade Center, leasing the buildings to a private company to manage, and awarded the lease to Silverstein Properties in July 2001.

Trump didn’t even lease any space in either of the original Twin Towers.

I’m saying we ran a bilateral trade deficit with China last year of 342 billion dollars.

That trade deficit has been going straight up for over ten years, and seems poised to go back up (yet again) this year.

That means we send China 342 billion dollars, every single year now.

There are currently more then 93,000,000 Americans out of work.

I meant every single word.

I doubt it. Republicans spend money almost as much as Democrats in fact sometimes more. Some of these Republicans Governors are running their states into a fiscal hole like Kansas for example. That state better turn around quick cuz it is not healthy right now.

I think Trump should run.

Just for the fact that he will bring fiscal issues, and trade issues and immigration to the forefront and call out the traitors on these. Now Do I expect him to win? No. Do I want him to win? Prefer not. Would he do a good job were he to be elected? I think so.

The upside is that he’s already wealthy. He would most likely choose good cabinet officials. The downside is he could turn the whole thing into a weird spectacle about himself since self promotion is his main vice. But, I think that he loves America, and wants it to be the best it can be.

Trump is competing for the Bernie Sanders niche of the GOP.

I think wondering if democrats are paying him to run is a legitimate question.
