I’d like to amend that title to 19 Disgusting Things About The Duggars….and Counting.

Here’s why:

1) Their son Josh was a serial child abuser, yet they don’t seem to even realise this salient fact. ‘He was so young,’ they wailed, ‘he’d just turned 14’…. ‘he was so young’…etc, vomit-makingly etc. Here’s the only fact that matters: Josh Duggar sexually molested FOUR of his own young sisters, one as young as 5, and a baby-sitter.

2) They didn’t report him to anyone for 16 months after he first confessed. That’s not them being ‘failed parents’ as they would have us believe. That’s being an accessory to covering up a crime. When they finally did tell someone in authority, it was to this man. A state trooper who did nothing about it and is now languishing in prison on child pornography charges

4) The Duggars seem more upset that we now all know about Josh’s disgraceful activities than about the activities themselves. Their doe-eyed exclamations of self-pity were utterly disingenuous.

5) They claim none of the victims knew they were being abused, which is obviously palpable nonsense given that some were awake when it happened. The reality is their parents conned them into thinking the abuse wasn’t as bad as it was. Just as they have, for years, conned them into thinking their weird, twisted, religiously zealous, goody-two-shoes lifestyle is ‘normal’ too.

Put me in the category of ‘Who Dat’ when this first surfaced. The ONLY sad thing about the story (I am not degrading the victims - that is more or less another story) is that Libs with similar ‘problems’ virtually skate, while this clown gets the stock treatment because of his or his families political slant.

Rest assured any 14 year old son, nephew, grandson, brother, cousin etc etc etc that molested a 5 year old girl (or boy) would be looking for a place to call home - Now, if I caught him in the act, it may be the last ‘act’ for the lad.

I want to say a word in defense of the Duggars. 1st of all I don’t watch the program and don’t have an axe to grind. This familial dysfunction is quite common and the Duggars tried several tiers of protection and rehabilitation for Josh. This is probably more than most families would do. A democrat would probably encourage the actions and legitimize the behavior and groom the child for the Presidency. Up to 90% of these pubescent offenders grow out of it and have no lasting life consequences. What would have been the proper reaction? Lock Josh up for life and never let him see the light of day again. I think the Duggars were frank and tried to do the proper things in this difficult situation. If only liberal and antichristian parents would do the same!

Children are curious, none of them know sexual stuff until they get about10-12 year's old. It is true no one truly knows exactly what happened in Josh Duggar’s case. Evil intentions are not likely. Shame on all those creating this to be as bad as rape We are to forgive those that trespass against us, as in the Lord’s prayer

If the truth were know we all had some curiosity regarding how all this worked ... Where do we learn ... from our other 12-14 year old friends? How accurate is the things we first heard and learned. GEEsh get over it. It is old news anyway. Their family has been a good example for family life for a long time. Let us not trash the good they have accomplished. Someone who can molest their own sister or brother is just twisted in the head. Just thinking of touching my sister in such a way makes me want to gag. What he needed was some immediate psychiatric help the moment they found out what was going on. You can’t pray that kind of crazy away.

We have put 14 and 15 year olds on trial as adults, but we have not put seven year olds on trial as adults.

Heck, in many states, seven year olds are considered too young even for juvenile delinquency proceedings, much less adult trials.

The people who are trying to justify, or mitigate, or lessen the severity of what Josh Duggar (and his parents) did by comparing it to Lena Dunham disgust me.

Putting your entire family on television AFTER you found out about this is NOT the proper thing to do. They knew after Oprah cancelled them and the police contacted them that the "secret" was out there and yet they went ahead anyway and publicized their family as being a "model big family".
