The Pope shows once again that infallibility does not mean inerrancy. The treaty would be a disaster for the world’s poor stifling investment and advancement to cleaner than dung fuels. It is also a very thinly disguised promotion of population control including relaxing or doing away with abortion restrictions in developing countries.

The good news to me is that this pope clearly isn’t a tool of the devil. I would give Satan much more credit than this. This sort of thing is clearly idiotic to anyone with an IQ over room temperature.
It seems rather blasphemous to me to think that we have so much power over God’s creation so as to “destroy” it merely as a byproduct of our existence. We would have a hard time doing so even if we tried.

I wish that the Pope would concentrate on fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 24:14) instead of concerning the Church with PC global warming.
After all, Genesis 8:22 shows that God promised that cold and heat, summer and winter will never cease for as long as the earth endures.
I suppose the Pope will institute a Climate Change Inquisition to root out deniers (heretics) of the global warming dogma.
