Some time ago I read an article by an Egyptian intellectual who pondered the question: although there are about a billion Muslims, and many of them use the conveniences of modern society, other than raw materials, why is it they produce nothing of value to the rest of the world? Why indeed?

I thought that was pretty funny.
But “No God But Allah”?
I would cross it out and write “Allah is Satan”.
Just look at the adherents who follow them and the books that were left to instruct them.....

For consideration: my research on the name / title of “Allah” has led me to a different conclusion than many here on FR.
Allah is the Arabic title for God. In English we refer to God (which is a title, not a name) which refers to the same Deity as various Protestant, Catholic, and Jewish people of faith regard as the Creator, Almighty and Redeemer of mankind. Even though these groups may differ in theology, we generally agree that we are referring to the same God.
This is generally not true about the gods of other religions such as Hinduism.
So is Allah God?
Muslims treat Allah as God’s name. Christians do not recognize this as God’s name, but it is His Arabic title.
My argument against the Islamic declaration that there is no God but Allah is that this statement contradicts what Christians, Jews and Muslims agree on, namely that there is one God. “God” is His title in English. This means the statement is self-contradictory.
We could say, there is no Allah but Allah. And there is no God but God. However, the first statement is bringing an Arabic word into English.
We should not defame “Allah” even though we know this is not God’s name, because Allah is God’s title in Arabic.
There are many of us who may have blasphemed God ignorantly by our comments about Allah. The Muslims’ Allah may be the Devil in disguise. And it may be him that is the object of such insults, but be aware that Christian Bibles in Arabic use Allah as the title for God.
So I advise against insulting “Allah”, not for fear of offending Muslims, but for fear of insulting the one true God, who is the God of all nationalities. His name is Yaweh, not Allah. But His Arabic title is Allah.

I live in Texas. I have refused several of these bills from merchants in Austin. When the merchants (who by the way were Moham-madmen) refused, I told them I was through doing business with them. When I left two other potential customers followed me out the door and purchased their coffee elsewhere.

Jesus told the Samaritan woman that they worshiped God in ignorance, and Jews worshiped the God they know. Paul said something similar about the pagans worshiping the true God ignorantly (i.e. the “unknown God”).
As Christians, we recognize that not every person who identifies as Christian is truly a follower of Christ. But we don’t insult the “Christ” of false Christian groups but rather seek to distinguish the errors from the truth about Christ.
It is better to address how the Muslim view of Allah / God is wrong, rather than accept their view of Allah / God and insult who they call “Allah”.
It is equally possible for “Christians” to worship a false Jesus, but we do not insult the name of Jesus or the titles of Lord or God just because other groups misappropriate them.
Arabs (even Muslim Arabs) can receive salvation just like any other people, by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus. They need to understand that the true Allah is not the God written of by Mohammed, but the Father of Jesus is the true God / Allah. And Allah is not His name. It is His title in Arabic though.
