"for conduct detrimental to the integrity of the NFL,"

They must have found that excuse in a box of Cracker Jack.

So the two guys that actually helped Brady get an indefinite suspension, while Brady gets to come back in 4 games. Sounds fair to me. /sarcasm.

what a joke. You know Goodell ASKED Mr. Robert Kraft if he was ok with this “punishment” and then he announced it. What a joke. Hell the Browns had about the same punishment for texting—and it’s not like it helped them in anyway. http://www.cleveland.com/pluto/index.ssf/2015/03/cleveland_browns_should_be_tha.html

But the patriots cheat (get caught) go to super bowl and lose. Get caught cheating again and another slap on the wrist.

Fans should book Brady at every away game everytime his name is announced.

That’s the personal conduct policy. It’s the bad press punishment. As a Steeler fan I’m liking this, opening the season against a Brady-less Pats sounds good to me. As a football fan I think it’s a bad rule and the league should be punishing themselves for being so dumb about it.

No, they used the NASCAR excuse, an enveloping rule that includes anything they want to. I think it is called Rule 12A, non defined and all encompasing, what ever they want to use.
