Of course FR's own resident EMP experts will be along shortly to explain how there isn't such a thing as EMP.

A Good Automatic Movement Watch: You need to keep time and coordinate things with your family after the event. Youll have to really shop and find one with a good warranty. I am sorry but the part about the warranty made me laugh. TEOTWAWKI but the watch shop is still open?

If the ammo cans and gun safe don’t keep my electronics safe ill be screwed. My old tablet with all my games will be ruined and I won’t be able to survive.

Of course FR's own resident EMP experts will be along shortly to explain how there isn't such a thing as EMP. Not me. I don't need any convincing of how horrible an EMP event will be. I pray this is not our fate.
If it's gonna be nuclear, I hope it's on the ground nuclear. IMHO, gone in a flash is much better than slowly starving to death after an EMP.

Choosing the right truck for the upcoming unpleasantness (Before you ask, no, the truck pictured above is not my truck. But it's perfect, imo. I've been looking for something like it ever since reading this article. But I'm discovering a big problem is finding one at a reasonable price, which I have not been able to do. A bigger problem, perhaps, and one I haven't even tried to tackle yet, is running the idea by my better half for her approval!)

I would think that any group that launches a successful EMP attack would follow it up a few days later, then a few weeks later to get any electronic systems that were repaired / pulled from EMP proof storage.

Of course there is such a thing as EMP, but it would take thousands of well positioned warheads to do much.
