Choosing the right truck for the upcoming unpleasantness

(Before you ask, no, the truck pictured above is not my truck. But it's perfect, imo. I've been looking for something like it ever since reading this article. But I'm discovering a big problem is finding one at a reasonable price, which I have not been able to do. A bigger problem, perhaps, and one I haven't even tried to tackle yet, is running the idea by my better half for her approval!)

How do you think to feed this thing in case of apocalypse? Or just to hit a crowded road at least. American prepping is quite a naive and romantic thing:)
