Bronx, NY A video published on Youtube yesterday by user benfarias13 shows an apalling abuse of power by the NYPD when they pull over and arrest a man for absolutely no reason.
The video begins with the driver sitting calmly in his car when an officer walks up and opens the car door, demanding he step out of the car. The cop immediately tells him to put his hands behind his back and cuffs him, asking him if he has any weapons. The man complies and replies that he does not have any weapons, asking why hes being arrested. The officer does not answer, asking again if he has any weapons. The driver reiterates that he has no weapons, asking again why hes being arrested. The officers answer? Because.
The man asks again,
Because what? Why Am I being arrested? Tell me why Im being arrested. You never even told me why I got pulled over in the first place.
The cop repeats You have any weapons on you? to which the driver firmly repeats he does not. Still not getting an answer as to why hes being detained, the driver asks
Why did you search my vehicle, because you saw a bag? That makes no sense.
Apparently the officers thought he was carrying a gun around in a platic bag. Understandably bewildered, the man asks
Why would you assume theres a weapon in a plastic bag?"

I am looking for the original YouTube video of this. I have not found it yet. The date is looking a bit suspicious to me as well. Freerepublic has the advantage of many experts to analyse this.
Thanks but I could get tat vihdeo edited or not and now put it on you tube..
I just have reservations because of this website posting edited video’s before and obviously the website has a clear agenda.
that video.
Thank you. Same here. I've even seen Freepers here refer to cops as "pigs". And yet if you protest, they call you a boot-licker.
Cops are a threat to our freedom. The benefit they provide isn’t worth the detriment They represent. I’ll stipulate I’m only 98% right.
Ms. Georgia It is the Environment that I choose to Live in that causes my frequent run-ins with the Local Law.
They have a Humvee and they still think that I could possibly create complete CHAOS in a town that very few in Tx could give a crap about, My Lawyer loves me, which I hate.
We delegate to the police certain powers so that we do not have to constantly be exercising them ourselves.
Police have been proved to be a useful institution when held under tight control and are clearly accountable to the community that they serve.
They have stepped beyond those bounds in many communities in the United States.
It is up to the people to keep them in their proper bounds. Video recordings have become a priceless tool to help keep police accountable.
Maybe they told him the deal once they got him on the cruiser.
Cops ‘vibe’ it all the time. They wait to see how you react once they know you’ve seen them. For that reason it’s a good idea to not make eye contact or even look in their direction.
If the cop found a gun or drugs after admitting on the recording they didn’t have a reason to pull him over, you might be able to get it thrown out, maybe. There was that case not long ago where the cop claimed to be ‘unaware of procedure’ and the evidence (drugs IIRC) stayed in. But for a warrant? He’s going to lock-up.
Our Prisons are full of innocent people. It’s true, just ask them.
Commie’s want our police forces beaten down, our weapons taken away.
Someone even said take guns away from the police.
So what does that tell us?
LOL. Indeed they are.
I live in a small Tx town with a Gestapo Like Police DEPT and I look like a Damn Meth Dealer, I see both sides of this argument, But in the END, BLESS these men in Blue!

Have you ever been boxed in by 2 police cars and have guns drawn on you? I had that happen 3 times in a year about 3 years ago. Unfortunately for me I didn’t buy a video recorder until the last time (funds and priorities)... They never gave a reason ... At the time I was working nights.
I have 2 relatives that are cops ,, they’re dirty as hell and the cleanest in their departments.
When they clean up their act and stay clean for 20 to 30 years then I’ll allow my opinion to mellow... for now I’m teaching my kids the truth ,, they are NEVER your friend and you DO NOT talk to them.
5 cops have been shot in NYC since December - 2 or 3 of them have bought the farm. Whaddya think of that?

Need more info. Did they need to be shot?
you are joking or being sarc right???
No, Neidermeyer, never been boxed in by 2 Cop Cars,
but
I’ve been pulled over by Louisiana State Police before I could reach Texas (I10) in a beautiful Red Camaro, (DOING THE SPEED LIMIT), and the car torn completely apart looking for DOPE cause I was wearin RED VANS (Tennis Shoes), apparently that was some Gang crap I was unaware of, Sliced my Spare.
MY ADVICE:
Don’t mess with the LHP or whatever they call themselves.
Thanks for checking. A Google search shows it’s a major source for negative stories about the police on FR.
Is that number higher, lower or about equal to the national rate of police killings? One LEO killed by a criminal is too many, but lets remember there are some 30 k plus cops in NYC, while in my small town there are two FTE cops, plus a dispatcher, and a few posse types like me. One of ours would be 50%, while 5 of NYC finest is a much smaller per capita rate....
I support good policing and good society, and I support and defend the US Constitutional against ALL enemies, foreign and domestic....
