I have always wondered what makes a woman feel beautiful and comfortable stepping out of their homes only after wearing their makeup, most of them despite having flawless and beautiful skin and features. As silly as it sounds, I have always been intrigued by this. Guys, you can have all the fun you want with your comments but Im really looking to see the girls perspective on this.
I never heard that one. I'll stay away from Mary Kay. Foundation evens out skin tone, nothing more.
Sounds like someone didn't know how to pick the right shade.
that’s what she calls it...
Why do men shave and comb their hair?
That’s a hoot! I just sent to my wife and sister.
I hope she goes and consults with that same plastic surgeon Joan Rivers had, myself. :0)
See, you get it. When Hubby and I were getting really serious, I told him I was going to let him in on a secret. The correct answer to "Do these pants makes my butt look big?" (which isn't a real question, but an invitation to a fight). Anyway, the correct answer is, "Honey, I love you, here's my credit card."

LOL
You guys kill me. You all say you prefer women without makeup, but the ones who make you pant are the dolled-up chicks WITH makeup. Which is perfectly understandable.
As for the pic, I have news for you...that girl's wearing sheer foundation, blush, eyeliner, mascara, and likely a bit of concealer. Also, she's been airbrushed.
Now, who's gullible...? :D
YOU B@$T@RD! You have temporarily blinded me!
Fair question.
I shave about once a week - when I do it’s because I realize I’ve become unfriendly-looking.
It’s like the lady said upthread - a little grooming is a smile to the world.
I do it because I like the way I look in makeup. I think it enhances my beauty.
You mean “Shemp-ard Smith?” :0)
Uh, nope.
Women see makeup as a way to upgrade their appearance, hide blemishes, pimples, etc.
Some women come to see it as a headscarf for a Muslim, feeling naked without it.
Others won’t go out without the makeup because they don’t want the criticisms of other women.
A few use so much makeup that without it they wouldn’t be recognized.
Your hubby’s a great man :)

Actually, since I retired that burden removed has been the source of immense pleasure and satisfaction. Combing hair? I just take a Wahl hair trimmer with a 1/8” standoff and buzz it off once a week. No huhu, no problem.
Just like my boomer mommy. She mocks my handbag as an RV in embryo form. "Will my first grandchild be a fifth wheel or a class C motorhome?"
Same reason why women obsess over what they wear. Other women. It what makes women, women. They care about such things more so than men (on average). So they effort to try and look their best. Nothing wrong with that as we all to some degree should effort to look our best, but not go out of way to compete or change the way God made us. However, clean and natural should be good enough in my book.
