The NFL Draft is tonight from Chicago. I will miss the J-E-T-S fans booing the draft pick. To get it started according Bucs drafting Jameis Winston at #1 is a done deal:

What disastrous draft pick will the Browns make this year -- to go along with their disastrous new uniforms...

Don’t worry Kevin Costner is working on a blockbuster deal to save the Browns. :)

Jets fan will still be booing, you just won’t actually hear them unless of course you are in a bar and they are close by.

The big question in the draft this year is who is going to give the Titans how many picks to get Mariota? And how will that fire sale kill that team and help the Titans? Last I heard there were like 8 teams bidding, which bodes very well for the Titans, and pretty much guarantees Mariota will be a “bust” because he will have no talent around him.

As a lifetime Browns fan, I don’t like the new uniforms either. I just hope they don’t try to trade up for Mariota. Not convinced he is going to be an elite QB. Stay at #12 and #19 and get the best available player at each pick. Too many holes to fill to trade away picks for a QB that is not a sure thing.

The uniforms are better than QBs.

This is my favorite Browns uniform (brown jersey with orange pants):

Ah, come on, their uniforms aren’t nearly as bad as last years draft.

Mariota's got the size, speed, and smarts to be a good QB, but I would much prefer a classic drop-back QB, not one who always worked out of the shotgun that the Ducks ran.
Last year, I wanted the Browns to stay where they were and pick Sammy Watkins at #4, and either Teddy Bridgewater or Jimmy Garappolo at #26. They would have been so much better off then where they are today.
I think GM Ray Farmer is a classic case of the peter principle, a guy promoted beyond his capability. Justin Gilbert and Johnny Manziel were complete disasters in their rookie seasons. Maybe Gilbert can recover, but I have my doubts about Manziel. Even if he gets his head on straight, I just don't think he has the physical skills to be successful at the pro level. I think Gilbert at least has the physical ability if he can mature and concentrate on the game.
