GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- Phoenix Mercury star Brittney Griner and her fiancee, fellow WNBA player Glory Johnson, were arrested on suspicion of assault and disorderly conduct after an argument in the home they recently purchased together became physical.
The two 24-year-olds were each arrested Wednesday on counts of assault by recklessly causing physical injuries and disorderly conduct for fighting. They were booked into the Maricopa County Jail in downtown Phoenix and later released.

lol, close enough.
“What is it with lesbians and domestic violence?”
Standard operating procedure.
If cops could speak about it, they would tell you that homosexuals have a lot of domestic violence issues, all out of proportion to their numbers. They are unstable people.
However, most people think Brittany is really a “he”. Check out the Adam’s apple. A college coach hinted at that and was promptly told to shut up or else.
Since nobody watches the WNBA, who would notice?
Many people suspect that Brittany is really a guy.
I think AP be right.
Adams apple.
Many people suspect that Brittany is really a guy.
I had the distinct displeasure of seeing these two on a show my wife loves to watch, Say Yes to the Dress...I heard Brittany speak, and can only say that any sane person coming at this from a sane angle would know that’s a man speaking...
It’s called PMS squared.
So Brittany was a guy who got mutilated and on steroids so he could play with the women’s leagues? Really?
“Glory Johnson” is a hilarious name for a lesbian.
The WNBA and other “professional” female sports are the equivalent of an average (at best) high school boys team.
That is one big reason why so few actually pay to see these teams that are mediocre at best.
Hmm, I looked it up and some sources have “Adam’s apple”. Wikipedia and Medicinenet.com
Guess I never really thought about it and just assumed there would be an apostrophe.
I wasn’t there, so I can’t tell you. ;-) However, looking at Brittany and listening to his/her voice, it is certainly suspicious. A coach of an opposing team hinted that someone should do a test was immediately smacked down for even suggesting such a thing. I would think Brittany would want to have the test just to prove them wrong, but s/he never did.
Good grief.
