Simple: Running makes young women fit and healthy, thus more desirable to young men. That leads to more pursuit of said fit young women by young men, which may lead to loss of virginity.
So girls who run are whores.
My guess is they’re afraid that exercise (in this case running) will increase their libido.

Dang, I knew I should have gone out for track in HS rather than swim team. On the swim team we only got to see lots of fit girls in swim suits. Apparently there is a lot more going on during those long cross-country runs off school grounds...

No problem. I’ve known a great deal of athletes growing up. None were “deflowered” in the sports they participated in. The only girl I knew that had an issue was in a traumatic accident that broke her pelvic bone. The last thing her parents worried about was that she wasn’t a “medical” virgin.
