Reds manager Bryan Price went on a profane rant during his daily pregame meeting with reporters Monday, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
According to the Enquirer, Price was upset with the papers report Sunday that catcher Devin Mesoraco was not available to pinch-hit during Sundays loss to the Cardinals. During Mondays meeting, after television cameras had left and about 10 reporters remained in the visiting managers office at Milwaukees Miller Park, Price asked Enquirer reporter C. Trent Rosecrans why he reported the information.
Well, as a fan, Im wondering, heres a spot for Devin Mesoraco, why isnt he there? Rosecrans replied, according to his transcript.
According to Rosencrans unofficial tally, the five-minute, 34-second expletive-filled tirade that followed included 77 uses of the F word or a variant and 11 uses of a vulgar term for feces (two bovine, one equine).

The four-squared people are shocked, shocked that the manager of the Reds actually cares for his catcher.
To: Responsibility2nd
Not even close to what's heard in a HRC staff meeting.

As a Mariners fan, I remember Price was the pitching coach years ago and this clown couldn’t even get the pitchers to lower their ERA’s so he was canned. He’s a low key guy, cannot handle the daily interviews and deferred to the managers back then during interviews so this was not surprising.

But did that equal what Lee Elias did many years ago as the manager of the Chicago Cubs, which we are very fortunate somebody recorded the rant on tape for posterity?

Good for him.
What he says about other teams not knowing about his staffing issues is 100% f---ing correct.
Sports reporters are such hothouse orchids. Managers have been talking this f---ing way since the dawn of f---ing time. Get over it.
