I do best on a board. I chucked the mattress a year ago and sleep on reed mats on a board.

And that is the problem. It’s too soft. If you can’t afford a new one, put a board between the mattress and the foundation.

Try sleeping on a FIR pad. I have been doing it since diagnosed with arthritis,
it get warm, ya need a fan, but I am good to go.

Far infrared Heat.

Totally addicted.
Turmeric and curcumin caps help greatly

A soft bed could very well contribute to your problem.
