FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) - Former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez has been found guilty of first-degree murder. He has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
A Massachusetts jury on Wednesday found Hernandez killed Odin Lloyd on June 17, 2013. Lloyd was dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancee. He was found shot six times in an industrial park less than a mile from Hernandez's home.
At the time, Hernandez had a $40 million contract with the Patriots.
Hernandez's lawyer acknowledged during closing arguments that he was there when Lloyd was killed. But he pinned the shooting on Hernandez's two friends, saying his client was a 23-year-old kid who didn't know what to do.
Prosecutors said Hernandez planned the killing and then helped cover it up

A white man convicted of killing black man?
Al Sharpton and the leftist media will be sure to focus on that aspect of the case. /s

"Life without parole."
Does that mean he'll be out in 7 or 10 years?

He’s hiss-panic. You know the other white race. The one that really isn’t white. Or something.

I’m amazed that justice has, to this point, been served.

I read somewhere, and I don’t know if it’s true, that the stadium where the Pats play is close enough to the prison that you can hear the cheers and noise from it inside the prison..........fitting, if true...........

It depends on how long it is before there is a Democrat governor who decides he was wrongly convicted because of anti-Hispanic racism, and pardons him.

I doubt that. Hernandez is a big, tough dude and will almost certainly hook up with the Mexican Mafia prison gang. He will be one of the predators, not the prey.

Exactly, what a waste. These idiots think they are invincible.

He is half hispanic and half Italian.
And, as we know, when a Hispanic man shoots a black man Sharpton and the media label the Hispanic man as white. So employing their "logic", Hernandez is white.
