I’d say Raqqa needs a nuke much more powerful than a 1000 sledgehammers will ever be about now...

All they do is destroy. Brute force is all they seem to know.

THe Kaaba itself is a pagan shrine and the black stone was a pagan false god from pre-islamic times. Nobody worships the archeological remains of Nimrud, but a billion muslims worship the pre-islamic idols of Kaaba. Why don’t these demonic hypocrites take up sledgehammers against the black stone and the Kaaba?

They are murderously hostile to humanity: past, present and future.

It's almost as if they were demonic.

Islam is not a religion and its followers are destructive in every action. while it may not be worth killing them over destroying our world’s history, as this is not just local history, it further proves how repugnant and unredeemable Islam really is. This is not a religion, it is a cult based not on peace, but on wonton destruction, rape, pillage, and violence.

If we had a president, we might have been able to help preserve human history, instead we have someone who lives in the White House and plays golf.

Another triumph of Obama’s (and Hillary’s) “smart power” approach to foreign policy.

Fortunately most of the Ninevah mound was mapped and surveyed more than a century ago, though this does add to the urgency of relieving Mosil, which we should have already accomplished, if only for the sake of our own national credibility and future security.

That being said, the true extent of unmapped treasures in that area are still under the untapped and ancient city centers of Erbil, for example, and elsewhere, still outside the filthy grasp and resources of these murdering swine.

daaesh trash.

An example of why it is good that Western museums, especially outside of Europe (as the muslims will destroy them too), exist.

OK.

One of the reason we haven’t totally obliterated that area, at least back before we had a mzzie _resident, was that precious artifacts and antiquities that belonged to the history of humanity were there.

Now they are gone, so......

All religion aside, any jackals that destroy ancient artifacts deserve the worst things in life. I love "old stuff", and the idea of destroying it is just abhorrent to me. I'd get less mad if they were killing kittens in ghastly ways.

(Puppies would be about the same as ancient artifacts. Either way, painful death upon them and their ilk, and maybe even their progeny.)
