Fortunately most of the Ninevah mound was mapped and surveyed more than a century ago, though this does add to the urgency of relieving Mosil, which we should have already accomplished, if only for the sake of our own national credibility and future security.

That being said, the true extent of unmapped treasures in that area are still under the untapped and ancient city centers of Erbil, for example, and elsewhere, still outside the filthy grasp and resources of these murdering swine.

Trying to look on the bright side, at a later date
perhaps some artifacts will come to light that
would not have been discovered without this
destruction.
