I can. Our first parents had the potential for all various shades of persons in them. Recessivity is still in the genes to sometimes yield interesting results.

There a family in Britain that has two sets of twins like this one. This can and does happen. You can find this example and several others if you search for it.
Stupid story. Baby on the right matches mom’s skin color. Baby on the left is in-between mom and dad.

This is certainly not incredibly rare. It’s not even the full range of coloration you see in many mixed-race families.
BTW, the dad himself is obviously not 100% African.
Black and white? I’d call them shell-pink and barely-tan.
Skin/hair/eye (collectively color) is a trait that can come from the mother or the father. My brother has my fathers skin/hair/eyes. I have my mothers. They are very different. Sometimes the appearing skin/hair/eyes trait is recessive. Two red haired grandfather’s can share a red haired grandson even though neither has a red haired child of their own.
In this case, the blue eyes are recessive, and imply that he has white genes in his DNA. She has blue eyes so both babies have light eyes and light skin in their DNA from her. But they got different color DNA from their father.
I am almost certain that if you looked at his DNA (which you can) you would find he is partially of Caucasian descent.

The “black” baby is not really that dark skinned, only compared to her sister.
I remember a news story like that from years ago. Did the girl you knew have babies of different races? That was what had happened in the news story.

Don't know much about genetics do you???...the father, if he had white genes in his background could certainly sire an offspring of either color...we have dominant and recessive genes....he could certainly have both....take a look at his picture....nope, they are both his and hers and they are beautiful!!!!
