I have noticed that there seems to be more and more posters on FR that have accounts from the 1990's or early 2000's, that are posting a lot more frequently.
I can't be the only one that has noticed this.
Maybe it was Ted Cruz, I don't know, but I'd like to know that I'm not alone here.
I miss those great ZOT threads with the Viking Kitties.

This is my first post since the 2012 elections. The divisiveness on FR at that time drove me off. It became ugly so I took my money and left along with a lot of other old timers. I am still in touch with a few friends I made on FR over the years. These days I lurk occasionally and maybe soon I will open my checkbook and come back. I miss the old times, this was a great place for me for many years. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
I come and go. Haven’t entirely found an opus necessary just yet. You can bet I’ll be round during election season!

Ted Cruz and a couple of others in Congress and state houses is likely a big part of it. I’d say another issue is the very real danger to our Republic due to the lawlessness of the progressives and Obama, the would be dictator. As a group, we support Israel and therefore are afraid Obama will lead to its destruction.
Another election coming up. Unfortunately, our country is circling the drain already. If another Dem gets elected, it’s over. If a RINO gets elected we may get a dead cat bounce, but it’s still over. If someone like Cruz gets in we may have a chance. It’ll be ugly either way. More division than ever. I have 3 kids under 10 and I fear for their future.
I can’t even remember what year it was when I found FR, I know Clinton was still in office. It took along time before I joined and posted. I don’t post much but enjoy what others post and I learn a lot.
I miss so many of the old timers that are not posting here anymore, one was Rose of Sharon, can’t forget that name.

I’m talking about the “handles” that have seem to come out of the woodwork recently.
We've had a lot more than the sort of Clinton corruption that gave me my nick. With this administration we've truly had people who hate America and intend to "transform" it by making people hate one another. They can't leave fast enough but their enablers in the media are resisting to the last lie. That's going to send a lot of people who are tired of the same old whining, bitching, mindless, drumbeat Narrative Of American Oppression to a place like FR. And it will bring the drones and the trolls with them.
And for some it may be the last election we vote in due to longevity and/or health. The only thing I will leave on this earth that is of any value is my grandchildren. Need to do my best to leave them with the tools, environment,skills and wisdom which allow them to grow and prosper as my parents did for me so many years ago. Maybe they won’t screw it up as much as we did and subsequently allowed our children to.

Yes, and I feel the utmost sympathy for those who will not live to see a conservative president undue the damage done by this president. That makes my heart hurt.
