Dennis Miller - Just ordered a black coffee at Starbucks and was informed that "de-creamed" was the preferred term.

With the best intentions, Starbucks recently launched a new campaign to get people talking about race. The campaign was promoted by their CEO Howard Schultz and involves a barista writing #RaceTogether on your morning cup of coffee and engaging you in a conversation about race relations.
Now, that mightve sounded like a good idea in the boardroom, but the reality is people arent at their best in the early morning before theyve had their cup of the strong stuff. And no corporation can force people to have an honest conversation about America's race problem. They'll either have one or they won't. Simply presenting them with the opportunity, though, doesn't even raise awareness of the matter; it just raises awareness of Starbucks's awareness. The more you pat yourself on the back for being conscious of an issue, the more it seems like exploitation. What kind of positive change could actually come from a large number of people knowing that Starbucks wants people to talk about race? I don't know. Nothing.
Still, Starbucks obviously hadnt thought that far ahead and launched the campaign. But no sooner had they posted it to twitter
when the backlash and ridiculing started.
- Zach Stafford @ZachStafford - Barista: Your total is $5.45 Me: You can just put that on my reparations tab. Thanks.

Nerdy Wonka @NerdyWonka - Apparently, in the @Starbucks world, this is what #RaceTogether looks like. http://news.starbucks.com/leadership

OH COOL. Isn’t Sedona BEAUTIFUL? We went on the back end of a trip to the Grand Canyon, then wished we had saved a couple days to explore south of Sedona area, too.
VERY nice looking place! Was it a vacation rental home?
We got one on the NC Outer Banks(OBX) a few years ago. Was very nice. Love how they’re all fully furnished with all the nice amenities one could ask for, and was on a private beach.
A little March madness silliness.
We drove all the way out to Greer last year from Texas during Spring Break to ski. Much better than fighting the crowds in New Mexico and Colorado.
Way back in 1989, I was one of many NUGs at my unit. It was my turn to make the coffee. I didn't drink it, and didn't know how to use the coffeemaker they had. It was a huge percolator type. I filled the entire basket full of grounds.
Never had to make coffee again.
The only race I want to talk about is the 4-wide Nationals coming up in Charlotte next weekend. WOOOT!
Pardon me while I (phfftt) there I feel much better.
Same here.
I have an old coffee maker that is kinda like an old grill. The more I use the grill, the more BBQ deposits are left on it, and the stronger the flavor.
The same coffee tasted different from my coffee maker or a new clean one.
...Meteor Crater was a hoot; Sedona, not so much - bad lefty vibes all over the place.
If she really did that, I’d have the chair burned. The stench will NEVER come out.
I love all of those sites. Arizona is simply magnificent.
Welcome home, Joe!
Well, with coffee that is too strong you can always add some water. My brother, who is in all other ways a stand up guy, makes coffee that is see through, and there is nothing you can do to improve the flavor. Yuck I would rather drink hot water
