Tracking Point is getting popular among long range shooters including this 12 year old girl. Yes, I know it's almost like cheating and using technology to help you hit your target. But, fact is she hit it at 1000 yard. You can see it here.
Yikes! Makes me wish I could shoot “like a girl”. LOL!
Its the scope.. You almost can’t miss!!!
I recently read an article about Tracking Point in G&A. Pretty cool.
It’d be fun to hit something on the move at 800-1000 yards
Love it, Wish I had a firearm worth putting it on. It costs more than 3 or 4 of my weapons combined.
That rifle/scope combo is about $30K. Cumbersome and expensive are not good selling points. That said, I’d love to try it.
It’s not impossible. I used to bull’s-eye womp rats in my t-16 back home. They’re not much bigger than 2 meters.
Don’t get beat by a girl! :)
I coulda sworn that someone countered him with the question of whether the other womprats were shooting back,
but I can’t find the quote.
The 5.56 at $7,500.00 is good to ".3 miles" (528 yards)
When I was competing, I would hit the 10-ring pretty consistently at 600 yards with iron sights.
I can't tell from their website if the system compensates for windage, but I doubt it. It looks like it just pulls the trigger for you.
Wedge Antilles: “Yeah, and were the womp rats shooting at you with turbolaser cannons?”

I’d be happy just to have a 1,000 yard range. My area sucks for long range rifle shooting.
LOL. Too bad that line didn’t make the final edit, along with “shut up , farmboy.”

No kidding. We have a decent range, out to 500 yards, but of course it isn’t level.
Plus the shooting benches are made out of four-inch-thick concrete, and shaped like a Y, apparently so righties and lefties both can use them-—but the fact is they aren’t fitted to or comfortable for anyone.
The concrete is sharp-edged, the seats are too low and you have to lean forward too far.
And the wind blows here six days out of seven.
But...but...it is a range, and we keep it clean, and my plain old rifles and handguns have been trained to shoot pretty straight on it.
