It Appears There Are Hijacked Freeper Accounts

I found three Freepers (in the last 24 hours that prior to a few days ago (10 days at the most) have not been active in a very long time...... At least a year and a half or more. The other two Freepers have no posts for 7 years and 3 years.

Now prior to that time gap all would have maybe 1 or 2 posts a years several years ago. Yet in the last few days they are posting a lot. I find that very odd?

I think these accounts have been hijacked by the opposition?

For those that are wondering what is an Internet Troll? Trolls, post a deliberately provocative message or messages to a newsgroup or message boards/threads with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument. This is done primarily by opposition groups.

I'm sure someone could figure out WHO is doing this. We just need to do a trace route on the account to see where it's coming from.

I think that was Jack Thompson. I have no idea.

Modern trolls - the dangerous kind - don’t just post to get a reaction. They post to change the subject, to discourage people, and to incite violence. Or just embarrass us about being conservative.

You haven’t been around long enough to know this, but they’re not hijacked. They’re deliberate. They’re sleepers. I’ve seen plenty of them. Name I don’t recognise, look up the signup date, it’s several years old, and they have one post.

The hijacked accounts that I have run across have been accounts of posters that have passed away and left computers signed into FR. One young man, years ago, admitted it was his father’s account.

I discovered a couple of weeks ago that some butthead had hacked my tag line to make the late Lee Sherman Dreyfus look bad. The liberals in Wisconsin hated him when he was governor. He wouldn’t back down from them and made them look like the fools they were.

Just to be on the safe side, I have asked the Lord for forgiveness. Since I didn't screech it out loud I'm hoping that he will.

Every now and then though, just to maintain sanity of course, one must have fun. With the shape this country, and the world for that matter, are in, having fun is getting harder and harder.

I noticed some new names too..on crazy posts, so i checked the accounts. In more than one case it was an old account with no posts till just a few days ago.

Now i can’t remember the names, because this theory had not occurred to me. But it was a little strange.

I will be more vigilant now.
