pizza, chocolate, chips, cookies, and ice cream.

I agree with the above list except for chocolate, which isn't one of my weaknesses.

What would you add?

Without hesitation: chicken wings.

Wings should be on that list.

Shocker. Companies design, produce, and sell products that make you want to buy and eat more of them.

“Food is not currently classified as an addiction, but experts say it can impact how you feel.”

Sure. But I can see it now. Obama will declare food addiction a crisis. Insurance companies will be forced to pay for expensive therapy to cure these addictions. And for the “poor” the cost of treatment will be borne by the taxpayers.

One more way for the Obama administration to steal even more money from the citizens.

I don’t know, xzins.. I think the word “addiction” is just so overused today. I see an addiction as having a physical withdraw when not using the product. For example, an alcoholic will go into DT’s. Or a truly addicted person will keep “upping” the amount. The yummies (and they are yummies) listed are things people crave.. feel good when eating and simply taste divine.

“Food is not currently classified as an addiction...”

I am addicted to food. If I don’t eat every so often, I’ll die!

The implication of the word “currently” is that they are trying to find a way to define food as an addictive substance but have not yet been able to do so.

I wonder...for what reason do they try?

I kid. I kid,

I know the reason.

Bacon and sour cream. You could almost eat dog doo sandwiches with enough bacon and sour cream.

Food is not currently classified as an addiction,

I would die without it.

And water. Got to have my water.

Both nothing is as addicting as air. Once you start you never want to stop and will use deadly force against those who try to prevent you from getting some.

(yeah I am making fun of this stupid article)

The most addictive foods for ME are a slab of pork ribs at the Walmart checkout counter, and EGG NOG! All I have to do is SEE a carton of nog and I put on five pounds!

OK, Churches Fried Chicken too.

For the record, I love rutabaga soup and lettuce sandwiches on whole wheat bread. I type this in case our new food overlords from the current regime are lurking here.
