With their little faces looking up to the camera, six breeds of foxes stand patiently awaiting their lunch. This is Fox Village, in Japans Miyagi prefecture, where for less than £4 (700 Japanese Yen) visitors are allowed entry and can feed the animals. Foxes are heralded in Japan, with many believing they have mystical powers, as well as others who believe they bring good luck as they descend from Inari Okami, the Shinto deity of fertility, prosperity and rice.

Japanese have these interesting sanctuaries including rabbit and islands. I read about the Soviets did some experiments on domesticating foxes. Were they successful or could not make it all the way like cats and dogs?

Apparently, the tourists can come feed these foxes about 25 times a day.
They are all little blimps. FAT NASTY OVERWEIGHT WHEEZING FOXES.
I hate them.

They should do this at Fushimi Inari shrine. I went their countless times when I lived in Kyoto.

Disgusting, sloppy, obese, huffing, horrible little twisted foxes who slobber on their next unneeded meal, as they diabetically and diabolically scheme to steal more food to feed their piglike, horrid little hideous faces.
I hate them.

I saw that same film - quite interesting - Id get one in a minuteYou could never afford the food. You'd have to get Container Ships full, delivered to your front door, daily. These fat, waddling porcine gluttons are nonstop eating machines. They never stop eating, even after their stomach explodes. They are evil and I hate them.

Here in west Michigan we see the red fox on our property. That’s how I know the Jaapan ones are obese. To see one is a treat and they are beautiful. To see so many glomming on food they do look a bit like rats. I would not go there to see them.

We have foxes in our neighborhood. We’ve only seen them a few times, slipping through the yard. Very pretty. I just hope they don’t decide to make a meal of one of our cats.

On top of that, foxes have a musky odor much like that of skunks.
At least the ones near Boston do.
I don’t know about Japanese foxes.

They're not too much threat to cats. They don't really pack-hunt and they are not big enough to Shock And Awe a cat.
Coyotes are another deal.
