A few weeks ago, psychologist Randi Gunther discussed the fact that women still initiate the majority of divorces, even after men dutifully followed women into the new millennium.
It wasnt supposed to be this way. We men learned how to change diapers and cook risotto. We learned to watch for barely perceptible nods of approval before opening doors for women. We even learned to manscape, for goodness sake.
Women were supposed to be happy with the new variety of men. Yet they are divorcing us just like they divorced our insensitive forefathers. Professor Gad Saad reported that American woman initiate 69% of divorces; the most recent British statistic is 72%.
Dr. Gunther, who specializes in repairing relationships, described some of the unhappily divorced men she meets in her office:
I am currently dealing with several of these great husbands. They are, across the board, respectful, quality, caring, devoted, cherishing, authentic, and supportive guys whose wives have left them for a different kind of man.
Who is this different kind of man, and why do women quit their marriages to pursue him? Dr. Gunther continues:
The women I have treated who have left their husbands for more masculine men believed that their new relationships would be able to both excite and nurture them.
Clearly, this new stud is virile. Hes exciting. He possesses something that the perfect husband does not.
Dr. Gunther didnt say it, but I will: it sounds as if many of todays perfect, sensitive, cherishing men are how shall I put this boring.
Who can blame women for being bored with men these days? Far too many of us have lost our masculine fortitude. That fortitude has nothing to do with being dominant or avoiding vacuum cleaners. Its a product of solid values and strong backbones.

American women arrogant, pushy, loud, obnoxious, angry, and vengeful.....
Yes, many of them are. I work with a couple of them too. One even vocally takes pride in being a b***h. She’s hard to be around 5 days a week but management puts up (and makes us put up) with it because she’s good in her position (which they say is hard to fill.)
I was told by a different loud, obnoxious (though not mean or overtly arrogant) female co-worker my “problem” is that I’m “quiet and humble” which others view as weakness. I’m thinking “What are we, in junior high still?”
Well, it does sound like you caught a bad one! In my case though...
1. She ran up major debts
2. She went to bars every night while I watched our son
3. She bedded every male she met at the bars.
4. She took trips to Vegas to meet with her boyfriend
Sounds like feminism to me. Yes, I caught a bad one and probably should have known better. This happened after 8 years of marriage with no problems that I knew about - mid life crisis on her part was my guess.
I guess it depends on way too many things to keep generalizing. Anyway, not all situations are so easy to classify, with that I agree!
despoused after 30 yrs. no infidelity either side. initiated by her.
mainly caused by stress when our business got taken out in ‘08.
she gof the house with no mortgage and a bunch of $, essentially all of
our assets. i also assumed 100% of the business debt. she went back to work in nursing. i got the opportunity to do a total restart with zero $ at age 56. best thing that ever happened to me. seven years later every penny of debt paid off, business great, doing it my way with no joint decisions.
will have to work till early 70’s before i retire but its ok. new boat being deluvered in spring. paid cash. lmao.
Women are losing control of this game because men are refusing marriage.
****************************
There is some of that.
However, in a certain culture in the US it’s the women that refuse marriage, because they get paid taxpayers’ money for every kid they have.
manscape

That’s the second posting on this thread that has used the term “manscape”. .....What the hell does that mean?
It is a double edge sword. If you have children, one income rarely provides for a family, at least not comfortably or in a safe area. Yet, If you have children, it can be damn inconvenient to not have one caregiver without another job.
That is really not feminism. All that could have easily happened in the 1940's or 50's
Yup...I know lots of young guys who plan on never getting married...they see the few who have and the unbelievable crap they have to put with is scaring them off...
Not to be too graphic, but young women today think because they have a vagina they can control their married man by threat and not love...
Pop out a baby with your women and try and do the right thing by making her an honest woman, you give up your life...threats of divorce and forever child support...
In many cases babies have become weapons of control...
After all, the feminist taught them men are rapists and pigs...
It means you have given up your god given manhood by shaving your body hair to conform to your female mates perfect idea of a girlfriend with a penis...
That's the truth! I can do bad all by myself. I don't need any help.
And therein lies the problem. It's the wussification of our society.
Probably some female editrix hag at Cosmopolitan Magazine.
problem is, only 24% of american women are conservative or republican and the 33% self identifying as 'independent' would be a crap shoot ( source )
keep in mind guys... American women make up only 5% of the women on the planet. as a bonus, the vast majority of women outside the US don't look like rosie o'donell or shamu, actually like being feminine, and really do like men.
A man's desire is to be a MAN. Being a male in today's society is nearly criminal. Men are not withdrawing from marriage and higher education because we "feel" that we aren't good enough. It's because we KNOW we are too good to subordinate our lives, goals and ambitions to some insufferable feminist bitch.
LOVE Rational Male. Been reading it for a while now.
