So frankly, women SHOULD consider a career/job a priority and keep it no matter what.

Even if you marry a decent one who is pure of heart and adores you and your children, your life falls apart when he falls through an open manhole if you do not have a decent job. Never assume anyone will take care of you.

I dislike how so many here promote the idea of being a homemaker to the exclusion of all else. It doesn’t work in the real world anymore and never really did, except for a brief time in our nation’s history.
