I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?

What are you trying to say about Mr. Bill? Everything worthwhile is either illegal, immoral, or fattening, remember?

ArGee,

Just announced on the news- demonstrations tonight at 6pm in Union Sq.

Does that bother you?

Whoops

Meant to say will that be a bother to you?

I can’t believe I wrote the sentence wrong, I know better.

Actually, that could. The subway I take home runs right under Union Square. If the disruption impacts the subways I could face a delay.

Our protests last night were peaceful, though, so it might be OK. I get email alerts if they expect subway service to be impacted.

Even so, I may take the long way home.

So you think you’re a Romeo
Playing a part in a picture show.

Oops, slipped a groove there.

I still remember an old “Zits” cartoon where the guys were sitting around talking and one says, “They need to invent an app that lets you go back in time.”

The other two think that’s a great idea and talk about the historical events they’d go back and witness.

The guy who brought it up says, “I’d go back 2 seconds ago and make sure that text I just sent was properly addressed to my girlfriend instead of my mom.”

So, your sentence wasn’t quite that catastrophic. The sentiment is the same.

Actually,

Breakfast in America and The Wall are my two most favorite albums I think ever.

I want to say from the 80s but they both came out when I was a Senior in HS. So would it be the 70s? I don’t know. But those two plus “The River” are the only albums I’ve bought as records, CDs, 8-tracks, and tapes and digital downloads.

There. I’ve just dated myself and outed my age. Sigh.

( I also loved and bought every album by The Cars during this time. But not as 8 tracks. Just again for the record. I’ve only bought two 8 tracks tapes in my entire life)

the catskills

Our yard qualifies also.

Sometimes the cats kill a bird, sometimes a mousierodent, sometimes a chip'ndale rodent, sometimes a bunnyrodent, sometimes a moth, sometimes a...

For the record, the birds rarely become victims due to the lay of the land offering rather good view of slinky felines approaching.

I had a decent vinyl collection. I bought vinyl or CDs though. Only one or two purchased cassettes. No 8-tracks.

I would say Styx and The Eagles were my favorites.

Styx

I saw them live. At the arena in East Rutherford, NJ named for a Demoncrat governor of NJ famous for railroading through a state income tax..

It is now closed and projected to be demolished in 2017 to build a hotel..

And that Dem governor? He is saying that Christie should be the Republican pres candidate.

Out of touch in 1970's, out of touch today...

It saddens me that arena will be torn down. Had some good times at some concerts there.

Any word on what they are doing to that horrible monstrosity of what they say is a mall nearby? Xanadu?
