It saddens me that arena will be torn down. Had some good times at some concerts there.

Any word on what they are doing to that horrible monstrosity of what they say is a mall nearby? Xanadu?

All I know, other than the visual obtained by a drive-by, about that eyesore formerly known as Xanadu I get from that repository of the sum total of the world's knowledge both true and false (aka Wikipedia...)
