Actually,

Breakfast in America and The Wall are my two most favorite albums I think ever.

I want to say from the 80s but they both came out when I was a Senior in HS. So would it be the 70s? I don’t know. But those two plus “The River” are the only albums I’ve bought as records, CDs, 8-tracks, and tapes and digital downloads.

There. I’ve just dated myself and outed my age. Sigh.

( I also loved and bought every album by The Cars during this time. But not as 8 tracks. Just again for the record. I’ve only bought two 8 tracks tapes in my entire life)

I had a decent vinyl collection. I bought vinyl or CDs though. Only one or two purchased cassettes. No 8-tracks.

I would say Styx and The Eagles were my favorites.
