I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?
Jake’s just an ex-Tom. He got in a fight with another cat, too.
Now he’s on my bed in a total state of collapse. He didn’t even have enough energy to get up and move to my stomach!
If I lived under the same roof with Busdaddy, I would understand him wanting me up. But I don’t. And I didn’t want to get up this morning. Between Busdaddy and Sparkle, I didn’t stand a chance. *sigh*
I just wanted to wallow in self pity and bed is where I do that best. Once I’m up, I can’t do it.
Jake was probably older when he was neutered, and had already had experience hunting.
Unnngh! I need coughie.
Did you at least get up early enough to see the eclipse?
No. I was having a rough night, and finally fell asleep around the time it was supposed to take place. I’m sorry I missed it. I have some good binoculars and it would have been quit an event to witness. *my bad*
My mom emailed me about the eclipse. She saw it this morning when she went out for her walk.
We got Jake at 5 months old, and he was fixed then.
Strong instincts for that kitteh, then. He’s probably still full of testosterone!
I’m feeling kinda puny for some reason. My stomach is really upset and I’m running a low-grade fever.
I need to chill out on the sofa.
Kittah has learned important lesson. Always protect your tail!
I lied. I got up and dusted an mopped the floors. I have to go shake the rugs, and vacuum, but I may not get to that until tomorrow.
My stomach is still queasy, but I’m trying to ignore it.
He looks very proud of himself!
I’m impressed with your diligence, ‘Face. Now you should relax.
The guinea pigs have been rescued. DP got the dog door open with a screwdriver and a little ingenuity (I had suggested Tom and a sledgehammer) and we sent Frank through to open the door. We also fed a fish which had not been mentioned but would probably have died by next Sunday.
We talked to the neighbors, too, so nobody will call the cops.
I tried to rest but ended up losing the tea I drank to settle my stomach. Now I’m shaky and wishing I could sleep.
I’m glad the piglet things were rescued. Poor things.
I’m also trying to watch LDS Conference, but fighting a losing battle. I’ll wait til it comes out I the next issue of Ensign magazine.
..the kitteh version of the human reaction commonly known as CYA.. ;-)
Good idea. I’m not very good at watching tv. Reading goes much better!
yea, yea ... yep ... t'was the flogged part!
Thank You for reminding me to always hold my tail in my paws’ hands.
Awwww....How sweet.
The good news is, I lost another three pounds. The bad news is I had to be sick to do it.
I went to bed after the last post, and losing what little I ate, and slept two hours. When I woke up, I ate some yogurt and a little cup of ice cream (the yogurt had over twice the calories!) and read for a while, then slept the night away.
This morning I feel much better, so maybe I can watch all the conference sessions today. I hope so. I need the spiritual lift.
So HAPPY EASTER!!! He is risen!
Congratulations on your weight loss, by whatever means. And I’m glad you had a good night. It was better here: the cats were indoors, so there was no noise of hunting or fights.
Happy Easter! Enjoy your conference. I just took Tom over to the high school for the overflow Mass, and DP took Bill to work. The purple car is in the shop until tomorrow.
